Our family of four enjoyed this tour tremendously. Our guides kept our group active and provided activities to enhance the river cruise. Thanks to Fernando and Alejandra for their excellent services.
It is a super fun activity to do as a couple or family, Alejandra and Fernando are excellent guides
Very fun experience. Diego and Ulysses were great and provided a fun and safe environment. Easy and fun way to meet people/other travelers. Would definitely recommend.
Excellent experience. Luis and Hugo made the tour very enjoyable for everyone. We learned a lot about Mexico and its history. Highly recommended!
BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! We loved it! They made me feel soooo special for my birthday thank you to Hugo, Gerry and our Captain! Please if you have one thing to do book this!!!
This early tour on 5/19 had just two of us. We really thank the operator not to cancel the tour and operate it just for us. The tour guide Alphonso and the boat rider were great, we were lucky to have full time with them to ask all the questions and understand the culture and about the area. Great experience. If you are not for party, it is best to pick the early tours with less crowd. We really like it, the whole area is calm and quiet, just enjoyed the nature. Great experience, well worth. Thank you.
This is a "party" style boat trip, with plenty of tequila, mescal and beer available. There were two hosts who hired one of the many trajineras along with a boatsman to punt it. The hosts' role being to lead the drinking and encourage jollity, which they did enthusiastically. The trip passes through some pretty spots, and stopped for basic snacks at one of the islands. Some of the islands are probably quite historic, having been created by the Aztecs. However, this not being a cultural or historic tour didn't feature.
Ivan was the best tour guide! He was extremely fun and magnificently knowledgeable. Xochimilco is an absolute stunning place. The boat ride itself was a great vibe with amazing drinks. Our stop to eat were some of the best flautas I’ve ever had, with a small tour with the Captain who gave us a a beautiful history lesson. I highly recommend this tour!
My friend and I flew into Mexico City on a Wednesday morning and this was our first activity scheduled at 4:00 PM. Despite it being just me and her on the boat, it was SO much fun! We didn't expect to be as entertained as we were. Our guide, Fernando, did a great job of walking us through Xochimilco/ Mexican culture, history, and traditions! He was so welcoming, that I felt comfortable enough to try crickets. LOL. Since we visited on a weekday, the area wasn't as busy but that had its pros and cons - I can only imagine the crowds on the weekends! All in all, I do recommend this experience; it's a must! Hopefully you have a guide as knowledgeable, professional, welcoming, and fun as Fernando. Shoutout to Don Felix for keeping us moving so effortlessly!
The traffic is horrible and leave extra early to get to the boats on time. Thanks so much to Eddie for helping us meet back up with the boat. We were late and Eddie was super helpful to meet up with the group. Also thank you to Hugo. He made it a great experience. I will definitely recommend this excursion.
