Masjid Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah is Selangor’s State Mosque, also known as ‘The Blue Mosque’. The Blue Mosque overlooks the Garden of Islamic Arts, a landscaped park inspired by the Quranic Garden of Paradise (Jannah). This 14 hectares of spiritual sanctuary houses nine galleries exhibiting a rich array of Islamic arts such as calligraphy, sculptures, paintings and architecture. The site is occasionally used for traditional Islamic performances. Located in Shah Alam, the state’s capital city, the mosque was built between 1983 and 1987. It is one of the biggest mosques in Southeast Asia. From KL City Hotels, it takes about 30 minutes to reach the Blue Mosque.

Batu Caves is a limestone hill, which has a series of caves and cave temples, located in Gombak district, 13 kilometres (8 miles) north of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It takes its name from the Sungai Batu or Batu River, which flows past the hill. Batu Caves is also the name of the nearby village. Batu Caves is one of the most popular Hindu shrines outside India, dedicated to Lord Murugan. It is the focal point of Hindu festival of Thaipusam in Malaysia. It is also known as the 10th Caves or Hill for Lord Muruga as it is one of the ten most important shrines in India and Malaysia. The Lord Murugan statue at the foot of Batu Caves is the second tallest Hindu deity statue in the world with a heroic height of 42.7 metres (140 ft.). Great experience

This was a great experience and our driver was incredible and flexible. He drove us efficiently around to the blue mosque and Batu caves and waited until we were finished. At the end of the tour he was kind enough to drop us off at KLCC instead of the pickup point

Operator response

Thanks a lot for keep on supporting us. Really appreciate it .

Amazing Cultural experience

Fabulous experience. Both sites are amazing. Batu Caves has so much color, movement. The monkeys add to the flavor of your visit. The Blue Mosque is just awesome. The tour of the Mosque was very informative. Sega our driver/guide was fantastic. He included a quick side trip to the King's Palace, where we saw the King depart the palace in one of his sports cars and witnessed the changing of the Palace guards.

Operator response

Thank you for your support and feedback, It was our pleasure to have you as our guest in Malaysia.

Good service but it’s only transfers, not a tour guide as indicated in the name

The cave and the mosque are amazing. The issue is that the name says ‘private tour’ and it’s only the transfer. Our driver was nice and provided a good service. But we were dropped off at the cave without being explained anything about it, just requested to come back in x minutes. And then at the mosque we had the tour with the mosque’s own tour guide which was really good, but you can take the same one on your own. So if you are by yourself or a couple it might be cost-effective, but if you are more maybe a taxi/grab is a better option

Operator response

As indicated in the exclusion, this tour does not include Tour Guide. Thanks
