Try classic conch dishes like chowder & fritters, a traditional plate of Bahamian cuisine with steamed chicken, peas and rice, Bahamian macaroni and cheese and plantains. You’ll gain insight into the cultural and architectural offerings in Nassau, the capital and commercial center of the Bahamas, and experience where the locals eat as you stroll the charming, tree-lined streets. Enjoy personal attention from your expert guide on this small-group tour, limited to 12 people. Please note we can not accommodate vegan diets on this tour. Seafood & Shellfish substitutions will be vegetarian dishes.

Travel off the beaten tourist path on this guided culinary adventure- you'll taste and walk your way through old Nassau's most delicious and historic neighborhood one delicious bite at a time.
We'll gain access to the Governor's Mansion and walk through the grounds of the esteemed Government House property, situated at the top of Mount Fitzwilliam, overlooking Nassau Harbor.
The country's first 5-star restaurant and hotel to the elite allows us to tour their lush property- you would have never guessed this hidden gem was situated in the heart of the city!
Tour the Buena Vista Estate while enjoying an exclusive John Watling's original rum cocktail.

The food tastings were good, Mark was great, and the other people on the trip were wonderful! I had a great experience and this was a great way to start my time in Nassau. I went as a solo traveler and everyone (the other guests and our host) made the experience very enjoyable. The food was delicious and I'm glad I made the choice to do the tour.
Princess was our tour guide and she was incredible! The tour starts with a typical Bahamian meal and all the stops were good.
Amazing tour! The stops all had great food, and we learned a lot of local history on the tour. Would definitely recommend!

Highly recommend. At 5 stops to eat, you will be full. Food was great and I love seafood. Got to see sites on the backroads that are filled with history. Mark, our guide was great. This tour is better than the one offered by carnvial cruise. Keep in mind though your reservation time is Bahama time, not ship time. Our fourteen year old even enjoyed this!

Good tour. Good food included. Good history of the island. Guide could leave her politics about Christopher Columbus out of her remarks. Once about why she doesn't like Columbus is fine, but over and over.... we get it, and left a bad impression on an otherwise nice lady and tour.

The food was varied and plentiful. Our guide, Princess, was friendly and knowledgeable. The only thing that would have made it better would have been to have bottled water available to us, especially at he last stop. So: bring a bottle of water with you.

This was a really fun and enjoyable tour! It does get hot so I highly recommend going earlier in the day.
