My brother and I had a wonderful experience on the tour to the waterfall ! Friendly , very wonderful tour guide! He made sure and took pictures and videos for us while we enjoyed the water ! Also secured our belongings while we were in the water ! Made sure we were safe , had a spectacular experience and left with wonderful pictures and videos ! I highly recommend his services to anyone !
It was my pleasure next time I will show u guys some lovely birds
To be honest we were a little disappointed with this tour. Our guide simply sat in his car whilst we walked for about 40 mins to "discover" Argyle Falls. We learnt nothing about its history, source or why it was on his tour. When we got to Gilpen Trace, he came a bit more into his own. Talking to us about the birds on the trail. We "saw" three or four birds, however most were fleeting sightings in the rain forest canopy. He did not seem to allow any time for us to take photos or wait for us on the return walk. Hence our disappointment
First of all when visitors go to the argyle waterfall they have to pay an entrance fee then they walk for approximately 20 minutes witch the staff at the waterfall must provide a guide when u get there it is not my job to carry anyone on the walk to the waterfall unless I choose to ok .my job is to carry the guest at the waterfall let them pay there admission fee and they will be given a guide most people don’t wait on the guide so the take an easy 20 minute walk I never had this problem in all my years doing my job.
We had three fabulous trips out with Michael during our two week holiday on the beautiful island of Tobago. Michael is extremley knowledgeable about all the wildlife and ecology on the island. He is friendly and polite and when out and about on the island he also took us to a very pleasant restaurant, where were served local delicious food. We will certainly book Michael again when we return to the island
Michael was a great tour guide. We did a walk in the rainforest and saw may birds. It is amazing how he can spot them. We also visited the waterfall which was beautiful. Highly recommend going with Michael.
Yes it was a beautiful morning for birding the birds were amazing
Had an excellent really informative half day tour with Michael. He drove us round the island, stopping at places of interest and giving lots of information about the island, ending up with a fascinating walk through the rain forest. My husband was concerned about tripping/slipping in the rainforest (it was muddy!), but canes were provided at the start of the walk, and Michael was conscious to walk at a pace to suit us, and gave assistance where necessary. Michael's knowledge of plants and birds is phenomenal, as was his ablility to identify and spot birds. Great communication by WhatsApp both before and after our trip, helping me to name the birds in my photos. Very easy pick up at the port. Would definitely recommend!
It was my pleasure especially showing you so many birds
This is an excellent tour. Michael is so good at spotting the birds. At his suggestion we went early in the morning and saw lots of different species. He is an expert at identifying them. He is also very knowledgeable about the plants and trees.
It was beautiful especially looking at the blue back manikin
Michael is INCREDIBLE! He knows so much about the birds in the country and his eye sight is beyond belief! He spotted so many birds that we would have missed. Highly recommended for serious birders and people who just want to see the island and its rainforest. We finished off with a visit to a hummingbird garden run by Junior, another legend. WELL worth the entrance fee.
Yes it was a great trip especially looking at the birds in the rainforest next time we’ll do more birding
If you like us like wildlife and nature don't hesitate to use Michael "Birdman" as a guid. He gave us a lot of nice experiences with his knowledge about his Tobage. We learned a lot about both bird, plants and the culture of Tobago. You can tell that he loves to share his passion for the island and he is good at it. Thanks for some nice days with you. Yes it is beautiful especially the birds like the brown Bobby’s , next time you come we will go for longer walk looking for more birds like the red leg honey creeper and many more species.
We highly recommend a tour with Michael. We did several tours and he took us around the island and showed us his Tobago. On each occasion he took us to local eateries so we got to enjoy local dishes. He was incredibly observant of what was discovered along the way and proudly shared. We had such nice days in his company!
The next time you come we’ll go more places but sure to spend more time in the rainforest
The tour was fantastic and Michael is the most professional guide. He shared the culture, history and nature of Tobago with us and we had the best day!
Yes it was a fantastic tour especially looking at those birds
