This was a great way to see the city for our short stay in Dublin. It stops directly at many of the city’s highlights and includes a live guide, no recording to listen to. Your ticket includes a free pint of Guinness from Nancy Hands. Entire loop takes around 1.5 hours or less and stops are quick. Would recommend!
Hello Kara_M. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us! We are thrilled to learn that you had a wonderful experience on our bus tour, and we hope to see you again soon. Best regards, Razvan @BigBusTours
I jumped off and on this bus three times and had three different drivers/guides. Robbie was absolutely fantastic! Super knowledgeable and easy to understand with an entertaining style. Even an Irish ballad thrown in! Loved it!
Wonderful trip, Fiona guide just amazing the stories she was telling and songs she was sang..she made our day. Just amazing.
We got the bus from.the camac campsite. The driver (Ian) i think that was his name, sorry if that's wrong. Was really helpful. We got off the bus at stop 1 and had to start the tour on another bus. 2 ladies the driver and Fiona the guide where great they told us where we could get a coffee with 10% off. Fiona sang to us at certain points. When we hopped on and off we got on Ian's bus again. His stories where great even his jokes. The drivers are skilled at negotiating, other buses, trams, bikes, pedestrians and having to deal with the general public on the bus.
We had great guides on all the buses we took but John was the best. Funny and knowledgeable he made the trip very enjoyable. Shout out also to Owain whose bus we were picking up but we had to tell him he had a flat tyre. He handled everything brilliantly and soon got us on a replacement bus. Highly recommended
I really enjoyed the trip. Owen was great - excellent information, good jokes, great singing & stories!
We booked a Dublin Coastal Tour to Howth with our guide/driver Gerry. He was by far the highlight of our time in Dublin. His cheeky sense of humor made for a quick trip to the coast that was both fun and informative that managed to keep my teenage son engaged rather than locked in on his phone (a real accomplishment). From the start, we were listening with rapt attention to his commentary (something no prerecorded tape could have accomplished). The tour itself was aided by the beautiful weather. We had a stop at the Howth Cliff Walk where we were given time to wander and explore. Then we were taken into town to explore the west pier and grab a bite for lunch. It was a lovely half day that I would highly recommend.
I booked my trip for the last afternoon of a long overseas trip, with the intention of getting an overview of Dublin. The Big Bus tour gave me that overview, complete with an entertaining live guide, Aloysius. The bus was not crowded, and everyone seemed to be having a good time. The best viewing was from the open-air upper deck, though the wind made it hard to hear the guide at times. I'd recommend the tour for anyone who's new to Dublin or has limited time to sightsee. Stay on the bus the first time around, and then hop off at the stops that interest you the most.
Joe was very good, friendly, informative and entertaining.
Need to research a bit ahead of time to know where to get off. One stop at the park was over 15 minutes and no announcement so we ended up getting off and walking back to hotel.
