Bhutan is perfect destination if you want a respite from hectic schedule and reconnect with yourself. Buddhism is not mere a religion in Bhutan, it’s the way of life. You will notice this from the very moment you step in the country and interact with local people. If you visit the Bhutanese house, you will witness a three-storeyed building where the third floor would always have a shrine or prayer room. About 60% of Bhutan is protected national park, offering the best place to unwind in pristine nature and environment. We did the Tamang Heritage Trail (6 days trek + 2 days round trip transportation) in early January! Beautiful landscapes and beautiful discoveries. We left with two accompanied by Shiva super Anglophone guide who managed all the transport, tea houses and greatly facilitated the exchanges with the locals (we do not speak Nepalese or Tibetan and not all the people we met necessarily spoke English) We had a great weather to admire these beautiful landscapes, do not hesitate to take time to take breaks to enjoy the views, the routes are well balanced: at each stage we could spend our afternoons enjoying the villages. The fact that the agency is based at the Khangshar Home hotel with a francophone person was extremely comfortable (we were able to settle all the details in our language, leave things and facilitated departure as well as return). Finally, the managers of the company remained available by phone for all details and questions. We recommend!!
It is a very pleasant trip with Dip and his travel agent! He is a specialist in Bhutan tour. Dip managed the flight ticket, visa application, and everything required by this trip for us. Itinerary was well managed, hotel and food is just nice, very responsible tour guide and driver... at reasonable price. Thanks Dip for the wonder trip! Wish you all the best!!! 👍👍👍
