Awesome vibes great people light show was underwhelming sorry I came fron new Orleans and felt a bit robbed
I had a great time here. Would definitely recommend.
The Church of Cannabis is a fun diversion for an hour or two. The main feature is a light show, which is well done and features traditional stoner music from those planetarium shows growing up plus some inspirational quotes and thoughts. In the rest of the facility, you'll find a handful of free video and arcade games. I wouldn't say this is a must see attraction, but it's a really good way to fill a couple empty hours in your day. For those put off by the premise of a Cannabis Church, it isn't really a place of worship. It's moreso a soothing sensory experience. Check it out if you have the time.
Relaxing, enjoyable experience with a phenomenal music accompaniment!
The place is cool. Retro games, chill atmosphere and laser light show was a blast from the past. Good music and an hour for the meditation/show and time to take pics. Something different to experience.
Downstairs is a pretty neat place to hang out with random retro games to play. If I lived nearby I would get the membership to hang out. On the other hand, the upstairs light show was a bit of a dud. Don't understand the great reviews. Maybe you needed to be high?
We had such a unique and memorable experience at the International Church of Cannabis in Denver. The moment you walk in, it feels vibrant, creative, and welcoming—unlike anything else in the city. One of the highlights was the interactive “spin the wheel” feature, which made the visit feel playful and engaging. It’s honestly super cute and adds to the overall fun, lighthearted atmosphere of the space. What really stood out is how inclusive it feels. It’s open and enjoyable for adults of all ages, from 18 to 90, and the vibe encourages curiosity, art appreciation, and a sense of community rather than anything intimidating.
We enjoyed the experience! It brought back so many childhood memories with all the memorabilia! Centipede was my favorite video game ever! We also enjoyed the laser show. I would go back and watch it again! I live in Denver and never knew about this place. I will tell my family and friends about it!
Great light show. Was unaware of the cannabis theme. Inappropriate for my 4 year old grandson. Game room was lots of fun before show.
Hi Terri. Thanks for your review. To be fair, there is no cannabis theme at all in regards to the light show. It is all agnostic with various words of wisdom dating back thousands of years, and classic rock and roll songs. There are some cannabis themed picture moments downstairs in our game room and lounge, but we have had thousands of parents come with their children and 99% have left us 5 star reviews. Thanks for your feedback
We visited because it was rated so highly and we were curious. The cathedral is in what looks to be a nice historic residential neighborhood. The light and sound meditation experience was amazing and immersive. We loved every minute. It was the soundtrack of our lives and we wished it was longer. We are very glad we made the effort to see this. When you visit be sure to lay down on the bench to get the full benefit of the meditation and music.
