My experience was good with my family 👍
The owner of the company that offers this tour is reputable and will take great pains to correct any problems one might encounter on the tour. The guide on our tour was far below average and I wrote a scathing review, but the owner of the company gave me a full refund and offered to provide another tour with a different guide. Sadly, I was unable to take advantage of the tour because I was no longer in Mexico, but I would not hesitate to book another tour with this company. They went above an beyond to make me happy!
Hola Linda Thank you so much for taking the time to update your review and for your kind words regarding our commitment to service. As we mentioned before, your experience as a fellow professional in the travel industry is very important to us. While we were deeply saddened that the initial tour didn't meet our standards, we are very happy that we could reach a resolution that left you satisfied. We are constantly working to ensure that our team represents the best of San Miguel de Allende, and your feedback was the catalyst for the positive changes we’ve made recently. We truly missed the opportunity to show you the "magic" on a second tour this time, but please know that you have a friend and a reliable tour company waiting for you whenever you decide to return to Mexico. Safe travels, Jesus Rodríguez
After booking this tour I was notified that I would not be picked up at my location as advertised. I was told it was a private tour yet 2 others were booked. They finally agreed to picking me up. I was taken to their tour office where Fernando our tour guide met us. A charming personality was not a trait to be had. Not until we got to Queretaro did Fernando tell us anything but only with us asking questions about the city. There were a few highlights. First was by accident when we visited convento de Santa cruz. A dance troop of Indians was performing. It was amazing but Fernando gave no real information about this special happening. We googled it to get answers. We walked around and saw squares with historical importance. Had lunch at a nice restaurant on our own. Finally went to site where Maximillian had been killed. Tour ended and headed back to San Miguel. Got back hour earlier than advertised. Also was told i would not be returned home as advertised .Fernandos calling is not that of a tour guide. I enjoyed the day mainly because of the 2 others on the tour. Wish I would have been bewitched.
Hi Anne Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We truly appreciate your feedback, as it helps us maintain the high standards we strive for in San Miguel de Allende. I would like to start by clarifying a very important point regarding your booking. We checked our records and the platform where you booked clearly lists this as a "Shared Group Tour." We never intend to mislead our guests; the shared nature of the tour is specified in the description to keep our prices accessible for everyone. Regarding the transportation, although shared tours typically have a central meeting point, we agreed to pick you up as a special courtesy to make your day easier. However, we are very sorry that the service provided by the guide did not live up to the "magic" we promise. We agree that a guide should be a storyteller, not just a driver. Hearing that you had to use Google to learn about the dancers at Santa Cruz is not acceptable to us. Because we take these reports very seriously, we want to inform you that Mr. Fernando is no longer working with our company. Your experience, along with another report from the same day, led us to take immediate action to ensure our guests are always "bewitched" by our culture, as they should be. We would love to make this right. Please contact us directly so we can discuss how to compensate you for the lack of enthusiasm and the early return. We want you to leave Mexico with the amazing experience you expected. Best regards,
Did not go. The tour was canceled at the last minute. Less than 24 hours before. We had to scramble to find another tour on the same day.
Hello Gary, Thank you for your review so, it is important to clarify tell few points. The cancellation was not made at the last minute; you were informed long time in advance. As clearly stated in the tour description, a minimum of two participants is required for the experience runs. Since you were the only passenger, you should have been aware that, without additional reservations, the tour could not proceed. We kindly ask you to carefully read the full description of the products before doing a booking, as misunderstandings like this can negatively impact small local businesses. Thank you, Gary, and we hope you enjoy your time in Mexico.
The tour operator was a no show! Waited 45 minutes! Didn’t even call. Tried to contact but was not responding to phone call.
Sorry sir we ask you an apologize, usually we run the tours leaving from San Miguel de and I think you were waiting in Querétaro. There wasc a confusion you would have your money back
Our guide, Jesus was informative, friendly and flexible. Great tour of Queretaro with a local San Miguel native
Of the many beautiful old historic city centers in Mexico, Queretero , in my opinion is one of the finest. It is so because of the quantity, high quality and variety exceptional buildings. Some of the churches are extraordinary.
Terrific tour, very informative and interesting. Visited all the important sites and heard history behind each one. Highly recommend.
Spending the day with Jesus was a joy. He is passionate and knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring Querétaro with him.
Although the trip was wonderful with an excellent guide and driver, I had an awful time processing my tour through Viator. We needed to add two participants to the group. I was told, midday, that my reservation would be canceled and a new one set up. It took a lot of hours from my vacation, errors and nashing of teeth. Finally at 9:30 PM...the evening before (a 9am tour) I completed a reservation. The only way I was able to process this was to pay $80 that I DID NOT OWE. I will be in touch with Viator for a refund of $80!!!! I am an angry loyal customer!!!!
T Jane: It was a great day in Queretaro, good experience with the group :) It was informative and funny Thanks for prefer our tours.
