Very interesting experience, seeing the giant Buddha and surrounding area was highlight of the trip for us. Unfortunately it was windy and rainy by the time we got to the gondola and they were not going. Our tour guide (Anna) handled the whole day admirably, getting us to see as much as possible even though the weather was bad.
Thank you for your positive review and we look forward to serving you and your family in the future.
It was the best thing we did in our 3 days in Hong Kong. It was fun and informative and great value for money. Anna our guide was excellent

Good tour. It covers many different items. A long ride back and forth on the cable car with beautiful views, boat ride in the canals of the fishing village, an impressive monastery and shrines and climbing 268 steps to see the giant Buddha. A long hot day, but really worth the effort. Highly recommend.
Thank you for your positive review and we look forward to serving you and your family in the future.
It is worth taking the optional tour in the fishing village. It was nice to see everything from the water.

I had booked the tour for May 13, 2026. When no one was in sight at the meeting point at 9:00 AM on the departure day, I contacted the provider through the chat function in the Viator app, but received no response. I then reached out to Viator, where they quickly took care of the matter, but only found out that the tour was canceled because the cable car was out of service. This was already clear at the time of booking. The description of the tour stated at the time of booking - I had taken a screenshot - 'Ngong Ping 360 will be temporarily suspended from May 12 to May 20 and from June 2 to June 21 due to scheduled maintenance.' During this time, the tour will travel to Lantau Island and Tai O by bus instead of by cable car. All guests will also enjoy a complimentary Chinese Pink Dolphin boat ride. Thank you for your understanding.' In this context, I find it extremely strange that the tour was canceled on the grounds that the cable car is not in operation. Even stranger, I find it that they did not consider it necessary to inform me in advance and that they had no words of regret or apology for me. Had I known in time that the tour was not taking place, I could have planned my day very differently, especially by booking another tour. Now I had no choice but to quickly look for alternative activities. Ultimately, it was a lost day for me.
Thank you for your review. We have contacted you before the tour to advise that the tour cannot be operated on May 13, and provide an option to change the tour date or for a full refund. We have already fully refunded the tour fee to you. Our apologies for the miscommunication. We hope to have the chance to serve you again in the future.
Peter was excellent he shepherded us like sheep and kept us on track. My only problem is that we were told we were going to the cultural center at the very end of the tour, but all it really was was a very expensive store where they wanted us to buy very expensive jewelry
Thank you for your positive review! We look forward to serving you and your family again on your next visit to Hong Kong
It was all about take you somewhere drop u off meet back. My tour said it included a boat trip and lunch turned out neither was included. Guide wasn’t empathic just wanted to prove himself right. Wouldn’t recommend.
Thank you for your comments. I beleive you have booked the tour option without lunch. The boat ride at Tai O is an optional activity that guest may choose to participate in, as stated on the website. We hope to have the chance to serve you again in the future.
It was a great trip . Our tour guide Ricky was very knowledgeable, and just a nice guy. The organization was great . All the places we went to see were fantastic . It was a great day . I highly recommend it !

Lovely day out. Was a little rushed at times. We opted for the lunch. I think this made time tight. We may have been better getting food on the hoof

This was a very well organised tour with Ricky ensuring everyone was kept together and knew where to meet. It was very easy to get on the cable car with the fast pass, there were certainly long queues for normal tickets. There was enough time to see everything and the transfer to the fishing village and back was very well organised. The transport there and back to the Kowloon Hotel was also well organised, however I think the instructions to get to the meeting point should say that it is just off Nathan Road, not on it.
