Visit the world famous rice terrace in the north of Ubud. Located in the north of Ubud, visiting Tirta Empul Temple, we can take part in the cleansing ritual in the holy water in the middle of the Tirta Empul Temple. There is some holy water that cannot be taken when we are performing the ritual and a friendly guide will guide you during the holy ritual blessing at the temple.
Visit local residents gardens which are full of colorful flowers, during winter various kinds of tropical plants will also be found there, hot tea and coffee will be served while sitting relaxed on the garden terrace.

We had a terrific day touring Ubud and surrounds with our host Dee. Our favourite place by far was the Tirta Empul Temple. Dee took time to share his knowledge and answer our questions which we loved. Overall we had an awesome day out and I would highly recommend Dee as a host.
The Ubud tour with Adi was fantastic. We covered all of the area’s highlights (famous rice terrace, temple, residents gardens, waterfall), and he even kindly made time to take us to an exceptional traditional Indonesian restaurant that offered incredible food at great value. Hotel pickup was seamless and very convenient. Adi’s new, spacious SUV made the journey extremely comfortable, especially for small families or groups. The half-day tour was the perfect length, allowing us to return around midday and make the most of the rest of the day. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Adi to anyone looking to explore Ubud.

The half day tour (approx. 6 hours) was the perfect amount of time for our family to explore the Tegalalang rice terrace including zip-lining, visiting the Tirta Empul temple and swim at the Tegenungan waterfall. We also had ample time to stop for a traditional style lunch. Our tour guide Adi was so helpful, organised, knowledgeable and flexible. We had such a memorable day and we are so grateful to Adi for hosting us and enabling an incredibly special day in our family holiday.
