Itinerary
We will take a scenic tour of the coast and nature trails of Puerto Plata. You will enjoy the best views of the Malecón, the exterior of the Fortress of San Felipe and the majestic Mount Isabel de Torres. This tour focuses on tourism and photography. Then, we will stop at a beautiful local beach for about 2 hours to swim and relax in the Caribbean sun.

We are excited to share this adventure with you! Your pickup is scheduled 45 minutes prior to your confirmed tour start time. If you are staying in a hotel: Please wait in the main lobby. The guide will be waiting to receive you. If you arrive by cruise: Head to the main meeting point at the port of Amber Cove or Taino Bay. The guide will easily recognize you, so don’t worry! Important notice for groups: This tour requires a minimum of 4 participants to operate. If your group is less than this amount, please don't worry. Contact us as soon as possible so we can help you coordinate your participation, either by joining another group or exploring other options. We’re here to make sure your experience is fantastic from the get-go!

Rigo is an amazing tour guide! He was so kind and patient throughout the day. Took us everywhere we asked to go and offered additional recommended shops. We ended our day at Neptunes restaurant on the water- beautiful, stunning views. We felt safe as we walked through the market and he made sure we weren't haggled by many. The fee for the day is fair. Highly recommend booking with Rigo when you visit the DR.

Rigo was an AMAZING tour guide! From start to finish, he made our day so enjoyable. His communication was excellent — clear, organized, and very attentive. He took us to the rum museum, the beach (which the kids absolutely loved!), and the chocolate factory. He also drove us around the city (CDA), showing us all the spots and giving great information along the way. For lunch, he took us to an excellent restaurant that we really enjoyed! What really stood out was his personality. Rigo is patient, kind, and wonderful with kids. He made Jessie and Zoey feel comfortable the entire time. Traveling with children can sometimes be challenging, but he made it easy, smooth, and fun for our whole family. If you’re visiting and need a guide who is knowledgeable, friendly, and great with families — Rigo is your guy! Highly recommend! 🌴✨
