Tankred was an awesome guide and very knowledgeable. We saw so much that we wanted to stay longer but couldn't. This tour takes you to the highlights of the city of both old and newer Berlin. We will be taking this tour again.
Stefan was very knowledgeable; moved at an excellent pace; even had Euros for the WC! Vehicle was clean and comfortable b
Your was totally customizable. Guide had terrific local historical knowledge and brought us to sites we wanted to see. Added insights to each. Mini Van was new and clean. Driver was very nice.
We did this as a private tour (6 people) and that is the way to go. We learned so much about Berlin and the WWII history associated with Berlin. Our Guide T - cannot spell his name was great and so knowledgeable. Great tour, would highly recommend.
We had a driver and guide for this private tour. They took us to see all of the sights in Berlin that we wanted to see in a relatively short period of time. We wanted to buy some souvenirs at a particular store and they planned a route that would take us there as well. We weren't rushed trying to see things and the guide was happy to take pictures of us. He knew a lot of facts about so many of the sites in the city and we really learned a lot from him. They dropped us off at a restaurant that we wanted to have a late lunch at the end of the tour. We really enjoyed doing this tour since it was planned to meet our criteria. They also catered to the fact that my husband and I couldn't do a lot of walking.
Our day in Berlin with Stefan and his driver Jurgen was awesome and we would highly recommend this tour to anyone who may coming to Berlin on a cruise. We took a private train arranged by our cruise line for ~3 hrs to Berlin and I was a bit worried about finding Stefan at the train station, but he kept in close contact with us and was waiting right outside the door as planned. We were interested in the city's history after WWII and we learned so much from Stefan. He answered all our questions before we could ask them. We were able to walk to many places we would have missed had we been on a large tour bus. For a first-timer to Berlin, this is the best tour to take and definitely ask for Stefan
Our family had a wonderful time with Stefan. He showed us all of the important sites while explaining the history of Berlin with visual references. He also made sure to show us a few of the additional sites our family wanted to see. We definitely left Berlin with a new appreciation thanks to Stefan. Highly recommend!
We had an incredible private tour of East and West Berlin, and I can’t recommend it enough! Our guide, Tankred, was absolutely fantastic—so knowledgeable about Berlin’s complex history and full of interesting fun facts that really brought the city to life. We learned so much in just 6 hours, and the pace was perfect. Our driver was also excellent—professional, helpful, and made getting around the city smooth and stress-free. One of the highlights was stopping for some local Currywurst, which added a fun and tasty touch to the day. If you want to see a lot of Berlin in a short time, with insightful commentary and great company, this private tour is the way to go!
Our family had a wonderful private van tour throughout East and West Berlin. We were so thankful we were able to arrange this as we would never have learned as much as we were able to any other way. Our tour guide Stefan was very knowledgeable and provided us with not only excellent verbal explanations, but also pictures to help us further understand the changes that have taken place as well as a better sense of where the wall was located and the affects that had within the immediate neighborhood. Thank you, Stefan for a great job.
We had an amazing day touring East and West Berlin. Our tour guide Tankred was exceptional. His knowledge, insight, and experience was incredible. We left with such a better understanding of the history of Berlin and the German culture. An absolute must tour while you’re in Berlin. 5 star , thank you!!
