On this tour, you will explore courtyards, colonnades, and selected entrance halls without needing a ticket, while also being introduced to the museums and their world-renowned collections. Along the way, you will hear engaging stories about Berlin’s history, culture, and artistic heritage. Public tours run on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 10:00 a.m. Private tours are available on all other days (except Mondays). The Pergamon Museum: A world-famous museum—and currently an equally famous construction site! As the youngest of the pre-war buildings on Museum Island, it will once again dazzle visitors upon reopening with unique monuments such as the Pergamon Altar, the Market Gate of Miletus, and the Ishtar Gate.
A fascinating "substitute" for the closed Pergamon Museum: Here, you can learn all about the history of the Pergamon Altar and explore a captivating exhibition dedicated to this iconic monument.
The Berlin Cathedral: A monumental church and architectural masterpiece that sparked both admiration and controversy at the time of its construction.
The New, Old Palace: Discover its controversial history, remarkable architecture, and the museums it now houses.

Excellent tour. If you are fluent in English it is an excellent option as I told you very much about the history of the place, with dates and details. It also helps you with doubts you may have about the city. Recommended.

Great tour to teach friends from outside interesting and interesting facts about Berlin's cultural center. Klaus does this on his Museum Island Tour with great passion and an enormous amount of detailed knowledge. So despite 40 years in Berlin I still had some Ahaaaa moments 😉 Highly recommended!
