Mark is a great local guide. He was very knowledgeable of the history of Berlin and made sure that I got a good feel for both the old and new parts of the city. I had a very enjoyable four hour walking tour with Mark. Highly recommended.
We’re so glad to hear you had such an enjoyable time exploring Berlin! It’s wonderful that the experience gave you a real feel for both the city’s history and its modern side. Thank you for sharing your feedback and recommendation.
Our guide Blake was great, super knowledgeable and he built a tour exactly as I asked. We had great conversation about all aspects of Germany, he provided great insights on a host of topics. We did an awful lot in those 4 hours, ask for him when you book!
Jessica Cartwright was our guide. She was very friendly and knowledgeable! Showed us all over Berlin in this half day all outdoor walking tour. It was our first day in EU from US and we needed power adapters so she also helped us find a Saturn store to buy all our needs for the remainder of our 2 week trip!
Dear EH Wonderful to hear you had pleasant experience in Berlin and get sorted out for the next 2 weeks in the process. Kind regards Liezel
Jenni was fabulous - knowledgable and willing to answer all our questions. She took note of our interests and explained all the history of Berlin from a local's point of view. Thanks Jenni for a great orientation to Berlin on the first day of our visit there
Weather was a bit miz, but other than that a fabulous tour round some of Berlin sites. Darren was thoroughly entertaining and full of interesting anecdotes on the history of Berlin and I/we would thoroughly recommend Darren to all. Brilliant city , and great time had by all.
We had a great host, Caspar, who looked after us well and tailored the tour to the wishes of the group. The pace and level of detail was just right. We saw some of the regular Berlin highlights, as well as others that were off the tourist trail. Excellent!
Stephan gave us a great tour of East Berlin. It was a customized tour and we asked for an eclectic mix of topics. Stephan handled it well. We had a good mix of history and more contemporary aspects of Berlin. What was even more important to me was Stephan's flexibility. I have some mobility issues and need a slower pace that he was happy to accommodate. Stephan also allowed us to choose options during our tour. We also saw a lot of artwork that expressed the themes of the tour. That was a nice added bonus. Stephan is a good storyteller and told us about his personal experience living in East Berlin. Overall, he is knowledgeable, personable, and fun to see Berlin with.
Thank you for your thoughtful review! It’s wonderful to hear Stephan’s flexibility and storytelling made your customized East Berlin tour both insightful and enjoyable. His mix of history, contemporary topics, and personal experiences sounds like it truly brought the city to life. We’re glad he could accommodate your pace and make the experience memorable!
Josa made us feel relaxed and at ease straight away. He guided us around Berlin at a comfortable pace showing us the places we had requested and so much more. He was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions clearly and informatively. Would certainly recommend.
