We'll begin the tour with a convenient pick-up from our office, located near the city center. From there, we'll make our way to Nina's house, located in the heart of Berat's historic castle. Upon arrival at Nina's house, you'll be greeted with a warm welcome from our local host and expert cook. The cooking class will begin with a brief introduction to the dishes we'll be preparing. You'll receive all the necessary ingredients and equipment, and our expert cook will guide you through each step of the process You'll have the opportunity to prepare two or three traditional Albanian dishes, depending on your preferences and availability. Some possible dishes include Stuffed Eggplants, Fërgesë (a traditional Albanian dish made with peppers, tomatoes, and cheese), After the cooking is done, it's time to sit down and enjoy the meal you've prepared! We had a wonderful time at the traditional Albanian cooking course! Nina was a fantastic instructor who made the experience fun, easy to follow, and full of interesting stories about the local cuisine. The food was absolutely delicious, and we learned techniques we’ll definitely use again at home. Highly recommended for anyone wanting an authentic taste of Albanian culture!

The lesson was given on the beautiful hillside near the castle. It’s a family run business and everyone is so lovely and friendly. Their neighbor, Mikel, was there to translate, and he was very entertaining, telling us all about Albania and the culture. We learned to make eggplant casserole, fergase, and meatballs. Everything was delicious! It’s a must do when in Berat.
