The Teleférico Benalmádena offers a high altitude journey on an exclusive cable car ride that starts in Benalmádena and takes you to the top of Monte Calamorro. Once at the top, the Teleférico provides a range of clearly signposted trails through the countryside leading to strategic lookout points where you can enjoy the most spectacular views of the Costa del Sol, the Sierra Nevada and, on clear days, Gibraltar and the coast of Africa. Enjoy a bird's eye view of the Malaga coastline and discover the most spectacular panoramic views in the only cable car on the Costa del Sol. The Teleférico de Benalmádena was inaugurated in 2000 and has since become one of the main tourist attractions on the Costa del Sol.

We went there last October. The queue was very long. But when we got on the views were deadly. It took about 15 minutes to get to the top. Very windy up there. Definitely worth the trip.
Wow! My first time in Spain and I made a mistake at the ticket machine so I went to a manned booth. What an awful experience! She berated me. I apologised but it wasn't enough and I finally said to her that I'm sorry but I don't know what else to say. I heard that here is some unrest in Spain about tourists and boy did I witness that today! The cable car was awesome. That member of staff made me not want to return to Spain again.
Beautiful views. Both downstairs and above catering and toilets. Upstairs there is also a bird of prey show to see this costs entrance. You can hike up the mountain even further, this path is slippery sometimes due to the stones, sturdy shoes with grip recommended! You can also hike up and down by taking a one-way ticket. In hot weather this is not recommended.
Great views from here and the journey is about 15 minutes each way. Was very impressed with the pricing in the cafe at the top. A tourist place with acceptable pricing Went to see the Birds of Prey show but it was about 30 degrees and I think it was too hot for the poor birds as well but was enjoyable.

We got a taxi for our hotel on Thursday 21st May 2026,closed technical issue.Also the same Friday 22nd May closed again due to slight winds at the top. Poor waisted money on taxis.
They could not use the code you sent us so we had to repay. Second time this happened. Hop on and off bus in seville we had to repay .
Great experience. You can see for miles.Got train from fuengerola and it's a short walk. Small queue but moved quickly. Cafe, toilets etc on the top. Worth doing.
Do this only in clear weather. The cable car goes very high and so we ended up in the clouds and saw only fog. With clear vision, this is probably very nice. Expensive, return costs €23.90 pp.
