Description
At the chosen time we'll meet at the San Francisco de Portimão dock and board a boat to sail off on our sunset tour. We'll spend one hour and half sailing the Atlantic Ocean as we head towards the famous Benagil Cave, one of the most fascinating places in this part of southern Portugal. Get your cameras ready! As night begins to fall, we'll marvel at a breathtaking sunset over the magnificent landscape. We'll also get to admire the Alfanzina Lighthouse as we approach Benagil Beach, one of the special places on the Algarve coast. Allocation of reserves is automatic. If you make individual reservations but are part of a group, let us know which reservations belong to your group We inform our customers that our life jackets are automatic, purposely and improperly bursting them will incur an additional cost of €70 per life jacket, paid at the boarding point

The advertisement said it could be done with babies, but it is impossible. They have to be held and kept still for an hour and a half, totally unrealistic.

Very long wait upon our arrival. A departure with a 1-hour delay, which made us miss the sunset... A boat trip duration announced as 1 hour 30 minutes that was ultimately barely 1 hour...

Well organised speedboat trip passing the cliffs and going into the larger caves for photos and slightly further off the coast for the sunset views. Took about 90 minutes and had a lot of amazing views along the way. Coastal cliffs light up golden due to the sun setting, lots of couples proposing and excellent tour guide explanations throughout. The caves, sunset, views and speedboat were fantastic, the whole family loved it. A little packed, but didn't interfere with what was a brilliant tour - well worth the money and would highly recommend.

The caves were beautiful and the tour guides were very fun. Us 3 adults arrived ~15 minutes early to a very large crowd of people and while we were able to board just fine, others said they arrived 30 minutes early and had an easier time finding where they were supposed to go (but they stood around for a while waiting). The boats are small, but they get the job done! We ended up straddling seats (not necessarily what we expected) but for the time of the tour, it was okay. Some people were sitting normally, depending on the boat and party size. The tour guide was very funny and the caves were absolutely beautiful. Despite the beginning check-in, everything else was very organized and they timed the tour perfectly for us to see a beautiful sunset on our way back (7:30pm tour). Would recommend you wear pants and somewhat casual clothing. Had a good time overall! Would recommend as a fun evening event.

This is a fantastic experience. So easy if you are staying Portomel. Terrific and very hilarious guide and the captain. Very well informed and kept the passenger very engaged. Worth every Euro (or many more). Fantastic experience. They have parking close the place of departure as well.

That the explanations during the cruise are 80% in English and 20% in Portuguese, although the participants were divided....Those who wanted explanations in English were placed more in front of the boat; they were asked for explanations in Portuguese at the bottom of the boat. Conclusion: those who asked for explanations in Portuguese were in the worst place and heard very few explanations in Portuguese. In Portuguese, during almost the whole tour, many jokes without grace. Smiles, jokes, screams, screaming conversations with people from other banks. The worst was the captain, made offensive jokes, talked about the size of his pinto... must not have passed through his head that people may have gone to the walk to appreciate nature, contemplate the cliffs and watch the sunset. He accelerated the boat, tilt the boat to the left side... who stayed in the corners left Vasco all wet. It was pretty complicated. I thought it was better not to say anything, because I couldn't ask you to come down. It was pretty bad.

We had a great time on this excursion. Our guide Sergio was very funny & captain Deigo was excellent behind the wheel😂 Very reasonably priced & well worth the money for the amazing sunset. There was a small delay (15mins) getting onto the boat, approx 27 people. Trip was 1.5hrs. A number of boats went out at the same time, great banter between everyone. In total, absolutely gorgeous & definitely well worth doing👍
