Our guide was very knowledgeable and knew a lot of history about Belize. He was very informative and took his time with us. Unfortunately, we forgot to get the tour guide’s name. If you could send it to us, we will gladly refer him to others.
AWESOME!!! AMAZZZING!!! 5STAR SERVICE!!! He was very knowledgeable about the island and we had a great time.
Great tour our driver was very knowledgeable and had lots of jokes! We got to see a lot of the city and learn the history!
Just a drive around the city….van was very old and tired, A/C hardly worked…driver/guide was nice…only stop was for a rum tasting…no tour or info about the making of rum…tour is way overpriced.
Sounds like you got into the competitors van,
We had a wonderful time on the Belize City Culture, Nature, and Rum Tasting Tour with Narcisco on November 5th. Even after many visits to Belize, this experience managed to teach us something new and offered a relaxed, informative look at the city’s history and charm. Narcisco is a natural storyteller—knowledgeable, engaging, and effortless in the way he shares the soul of Belize. We explored iconic sites like the Baron Bliss Lighthouse, learned the history behind the famous Swing Bridge, and enjoyed a great photo stop at the colorful Belize Sign. A visit to St. John’s Cathedral, the oldest Anglican church in Central America, added a beautiful historical depth to the day. Along the way, Narcisco highlighted other cultural landmarks and local neighborhoods, giving us a richer understanding of Belizean life. The experience wrapped up perfectly at Traveller’s Liquors, where we enjoyed a fun and flavorful rum tasting. It was a great chance to sample Belize’s signature spirits and learn more about the country’s distilling traditions. Overall, this tour was a perfect balance of culture, history, nature, and relaxation. Whether it’s your first visit to Belize or your tenth, exploring the city with Narcisco is something you won’t want to miss. Highly recommended!
It was a great experience I truly recommend this tour, the tour guide was amazing. he was very informative and polite..
Good tour of the city. The driver knows the city very well. He know the history of the city. Belize City has an interesting past.
Pro: The actually tour & guide were very good, but I have to mention that there was no stop for shopping. Con: The vehicle (van) that was assigned to me and my friends was herendous...it was dirty, in disrepair and no air conditioning. There were these clip on fans which did nothing to cool down the van...it was so hot in this van that it was really hard to concentrate on what the guide was saying.
thanks for the review, we have replaced the van, thanks
the tour guide was very good. he went thru some interesting history of Belize. we got an overview at the rum distillery and tasted some rum. we did not have the souvenir shop stop as advertised. the tour is listed in an air conditioned van. the van was more like a sauna with a breeze. we all were sweating the entire time. there was a clip on fan and the air conditioning that was running leaked on my leg. very disappointed with the condition of the vehicle. the windshield also had a crack in it. Unfortunately I can not recommend this tour!
thanks for the review, we have replaced the van. thanks
I enjoyed sightseeing around Belize city from the tour bus and taking a picture at the Belize sign, but the only place we stopped at during the tour was the rum store. The rum tasting was nice, but it was not free like I thought.
Thanks for choosing Belize for your tour stop, while the tour pauses and stops at city highlights, you may choose to step out for pictures or remain seated, this past week has been 95degrees and many choose to stay in the AC vehicle and take pictures from the vehicle, at the rum distillery the first 2 shots are complimentary, you may choose to have more shots for 1$ for 2 shots, and the gift shop purchases are optional. thanks for the review. thanks for choosing us.
