The workshop was very interesting; we learned a lot about the process of cacao and chocolate. Joselin also makes it very entertaining. We did not find tickets via TripAdvisor or others, but there were spots available directly at the ChocoMuseo.
I can see why everyone leaves positive reviews for this experience! We had a blast and learned new things about chocolate. Diana was a great instructor / leader of the tasting experience, and she was super interactive and had great energy. Fun way to spend a Saturday morning on my birthday weekend! Thank you so much
This is definitely one of the top highlights of the Antigua trip, not to be missed, especially the class with Joslyn! Went on a monday and the class was nearly at capacity. Learned so much about the entire process from the beans to actually making our own bars. Lots of free samples, and it was really cool to make hot chocolate using ancient mayan processes too! Joslyn, the instructor was super knowledgeable, and very funny and warm and made the experience an A+. Would recommend!
So much fun! Jocelyn was funny, very informative and made this a great experience! We had a wonderful group of people also!
Our guide was Joselin who was very friendly and a great teacher. She was very knowledgeable and funny. She got everyone involved and I enjoyed being actively making the chocolate. The tasting all the drinks and making a chocolate bar was worth the money. Thank you!
Jocelyn was a fabulous teacher and kept everyone involved from the get go. We got to make our own bars right off the bat and then learned about the chocolate making process throughout an interactive class. Definitely worth it!
This was a great experience. We did the two hour class and it was the perfect length. You get to participate in almost every step of the chocolate making process. The teacher tries to involve every guest. I believe there can be up to 8 people in each session. BTW it is less expensive if you pay in Q rather than USD. It is also nice that they provide water since you are tasting chocolate as you go!
Fun, informative, and tasty experience in Antigua! The chocolate maker was fun and engaging with the whole audience. Making the chocolate was also fun! You can stay after and read more about the history of chocolate on their posters throughout the building.
This was an amazing experience mostly because the instructor was so much fun and very knowledgeable as well as kept the class interesting and absolutely memorable! She included the class in everything and was super friendly! I will be back with my husband so that he can take this class too!
The workshop was an amazing experience. Great staff, especially instructor Joslyn, delightful diverse group of people, enjoyed the informative education opportunity and the chocolate bar was scrumptious. Will recommend this visit to everyone.
