Beagle Canal Tour with Small Group Hiking

Description
We sail the Beagle Channel from the port of Ushuaia to the Island of Sea Wolves and Birds, visit the mythical Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse and disembark at our pier on Bridges Island, where we take a walk full of incredible views and make an interpretation of the local flora. This, no other groups near us! Our small boat allows us to get closer to the islands, giving our travelers a better experience during sightings. We work only with small groups, only 10 people, guaranteeing personalized attention! Cafeteria service is free. We offer Tea, Coffee, Chocolate, Sodas, Craft Beer, and some snacks! We serve alcoholic beverages to travelers over 21 years old, children under 21 years old will be served non-alcoholic beverages. We emphasize respect for wildlife and the environment. We are a family business committed to our product, this is attested by the opinions of our travelers.

The experience is in the open sea, and subject to climatic conditions, which changes a lot in Ushuaia, but the company's stance with me was HORRIBLE. I was sent a message on the eve of notice that my ride had changed from 10am to midday, informing that I could refund if I wanted to. As a way of cooperating, I agreed and prepared for the 12-hour tour. Adapting my whole day again. I got there and there was nobody. Then the girlfriend of the company arrived, said that I would make the full refund and I would go with another company, but now only 15:30. Made me lose my day, gave me no discount, nothing. Total disorganization and disrespect. If there was no tour 12 hours pq did not speak since the day before? I lost my day.
This excursion is great, and it really delivers by providing an enjoyable, relaxing, and informative trip in the Beagle Channel. This said, my getting to take this excursion was somewhat fraught. In the 24 hours prior to my confirmed activity, it was canceled and then rescheduled three times before I was put on the boat at the last minute at the originally scheduled time. Maybe my experience was unusual, but my experience is the only one I can speak to. In any case, I am glad things worked out for me. Once it got going, I really enjoyed it. Had there not been the cancelation and scheduling issues, I easily would have given it five stars.
I had booked in August and had been in touch with the operator, El Che Turismo, several times as we wanted to add on a pick up (payable of course). Everything seemed fine, payment was taken 2 days before. One day before I was trying to finalise the pickup with them. They were then very vague, didn't answer and finally told us there was a technical problem and our 3pm tour was cancelled. We could go at 2pm or 6pm. This didn't fit in with our plans as we (party of 4) had made other reservations around this trip. Very disappointed to say the least and stressful trying to organise something to replace it. Fortunately we managed to find something else but would definitely advise to stay clear of this operator.
This trip did not happen because it was too windy for the small boat to go out. However what made this fantastic was the kindness of Carolina in th El Che Touristico Alternativa office. She helped us book on a larger boat which got close to the islands we visited. More importantly when she heard we liked small boats and wanted to see penguins she booked us on a small boat with Juan leaving from Puerto Almanza the following day. It turned out that we were the only 2 guests. The cabin was warm and we could see the penguins very well. We learned a lot about the area. On return we were treated to a delicious meal by Juan's wife. We would highly recommend this trip to anyone.
Occasionally the wave is rough. The boat is small for twelve people. The crew is friendly. Meet people from different countries.
The boat was broken down, so they sent us with a different company. They called at the last minute and moved the tour up by 1 hour, so we didn't have time to eat. We thought it would be fine since they had "snacks, chips, peanuts, muffins". But they did not have those things. Then they supposedly had an "English speaking" guide, which again, was not provided. His English consisted of about 10 words. We are seniors, but I felt the walk on the island, while beautiful, was quite dangerous. There needed to be more warning about this. Plus we had no guide that spoke English. Very disappointed. No offer of refunding any of the money paid. If you book with them, make sure what you are getting and that they are not handing you off to another company. Also there were 12 of us packed on a very small boat. Not everyone could sit inside, and it was very cold and the water was spraying the people outside.
We really enjoyed this tour and the operator was fantastic. Good communication. When the harbour closed due to bad conditions and high wind they messaged us right away and stayed in touch about options and updates and we were able to reschedule for later the same day when the weather improved. We enjoyed the small boat which was able to get much closer to the light house and seals there than the larger boat. And the short hike was enjoyable on another small island. Highly recommended.
This vendor canceled our tour at 9:33pm the night before the tour. They said they had another tour that was similar. I asked several questions & received no response. At 9:30am the next morning they said they attempted to reach me for a 10am tour. I had already called Viator in the am to request a refund. This was a very bad experience.
Unfortunately our tour was cancelled due to reparations to their boat, but the 5-star review is still waranted due to the following reasons: extremely friendly and clear communcation, the company contacted us early regarding the repairs and forwarded us to another company offering a similar tour. Then continued to provide good communication regarding the refund :) very trustworthy company!
Beautiful experience! Eze and Guille geniuses, attentive to everything and providing us with lots of information! The boat approached all the islands very well which allowed us to see and learn much about the fauna of the area. It's a must-see ride and they do great!
Muchísimas gracias Mari y a todos! Gracias por venir y disfrutar de la naturaleza con nosotros!! Gracias por apreciar nuestro trabajo y los detalles! Ezequiel, Guillermo, Sonia Carolina🤗
