Blue Mosque way too crowded with no system in place to regulate numbers. I know by being there I am contributing to this problem. Probably not the best year to visit Hagia Sophia as it looks like it will be undergoing a badly needed renovation. Numbers on the audio guide do not match with numbers on display. For me, Basilica Cistern was by far the best of the three. Interesting facts on the audio guide. I would give this place 5 stars on its own.

Regarding your note on Hagia Sophia, the historic site does experience ongoing restoration and maintenance preservation to protect its structural integrity for future generations. While these badly needed renovations can sometimes impact visual aesthetics or accessible areas, we do our best to guide guests smoothly through the current layouts. This was a great way to see all three locations in a really easy and streamlined way that gives you maximum flexibility with your day. I generally hate group tours for many reasons, so if you’re like me, this is well worth it. Just makes sure to do the following: 1. Screenshot your QR code(s) when received so they’re easily accessible when you get to check-in. 2. Download the audio guides by just clicking “start tour” and they’ll be in your library. 3. Keep those audio guide tabs open on your phone. 4. Enjoy at your own pace! It really was so simple, and it was GREAT to just skip everyone waiting in line for tickets LOL. And you can decide when you wanna go in, we both waited for and rushed in before large tour groups — which was what we wanted to have flexibility to do.
