Explore Bari in comfort aboard a rickshaw and discover picturesque hidden corners, lively streets, and the authentic atmosphere of the old town with an expert local guide. Glide through Bari Vecchia while uncovering local traditions, stories, and charming places often missed by ordinary tours. This experience combines culture, folklore, and gastronomy in a unique journey through the flavors of Puglia. Along the route, you’ll enjoy tastings of typical local products carefully selected according to seasonality and availability, including Bari-style focaccia, local cured meats and artisanal cheeses or the famous Spaghetti all’Assassina, accompanied by a glass of local red wine. The tour continues with a freshly fried panzerotto and ends on a sweet note with homemade artisanal gelato.

The cathedral is the seat of the Archbishop of Bari-Bitonto, dedicated to Saint Sabinus, a bishop of Canosa, whose relics were brought here in the 9th century. Here you will appreciate underground roman walls named Succorpo.
The Norman Swebian Castle hosts the collection of plaster casts and temporary art exhibitions.
The piazza has always represented the heart of commercial and administrative activities in the city due to the presence of the city market (not currently in this area) and of the palazzo Sedile, which is the historical reference point of Bari city Hall. Today, for the citizens of Bari it is an irreplaceable meeting point.

Without this street food experience, I would not have ventured into the right stores for the best experience of local delicacies. It was also a delightful way to spend our first day in Bari.

The rickshaw street food tour of Bari with Anna was excellent. She was energetic, knowledgeable and her english excellent! Her tour went well beyond just the food and she told us some fascinating stories about places along the way. Highly recommend the tour! (Unfortunately after the tour, my husband and I realized we didnt tip her and I felt horrible. I've tried to contact Velo service several times to get contact information for her to rectify this embarrassing oversight! No response yet)
