Join a guided tour led by an expert multilingual guide and discover the main attractions of Bari. Jump aboard a fun bike-rickshaw and admire wonderful sites, such as the Basilica of Saint Nicholas, the Cathedral of San Sabino, the Swabian Castle, the Teathers, and some of the most picturesque and characteristic corners of the city center, such as the Fish Market and the small alleys where you can still see women preparing fresh pasta today. Explore the most authentical Bari, meet local people, and discover the fascinating and ancient traditions of this city in the South of Italy. The cathedral is the seat of the Archbishop of Bari-Bitonto, dedicated to Saint Sabinus, a bishop of Canosa, whose relics were brought here in the 9th century. Here you will appreciate underground roman walls named Succorpo.
The piazza has always represented the heart of commercial and administrative activities in the city due to the presence of the city market (not currently in this area) and of the palazzo Sedile, which is the historical reference point of Bari city Hall. Today, for the citizens of Bari it is an irreplaceable meeting point.
Piazza Ferrarese has always been one of the access points to the old town which, with its narrow streets, alleys and small openings, extends from Piazza Ferrarese - Piazza Mercantile up to the Normanno -Svevo castle. During recent restoration, which involved not only the square but also the surrounding buildings, a short stretch of the ancient Via Appia – Traiana came to light, built by the Romans in the early second century A.D.
The Norman Swebian Castle hosts the collection of plaster casts and temporary art exhibitions.

This rickshaw tour is a fun and easy way to see Bari. Our guide Chiara was knowledgeable about the history and took time to explain each stop. The Nonnas making pasta at the street market were very interesting, and it was an enjoyable morning.
We were fortunate to have Gianfranco as our guide, a talented, prepared, available, and very polite young man born in 2003. The tour was beautiful; we had the opportunity to hear a lot of history and many facts about the area.

Great way to get acquainted with Bari without getting tired. My wife and I had a lovely guide, Eleanora, who showed us around pointing out key city attractions. She also took us to taste a delicious focaccia. Highly recommended.
