Well organized and easy paced trip to wineries and distillery in scenic hills. Scotty was a pleasant and personable guide
Scotty was great, very friendly and personable. Wine tastings were great and the lunch was fantastic!
Scotty our tour guide was truly exceptional in all aspects. He was an excellent driver as well as knowledgeable and interesting in his wealth of information of the area and its history. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our day with him and the tour + wine/food were well worth doing. Thanks
What an amazing day! Scotty our driver was friendly and helpful. The staff at the places we stoped at were great and mostly knowledgeable of the products they were presenting. The meal we had was NOT pub grub, it was beautifully cooked and served. I can’t rave on enough about the day out. I highly recommend this excursion to anyone who enjoys relaxing and a tasting great wines
The trip was canceled because the other group canceled and I was the only one on the tour. I was offered to go another day but I could not since I was returning to Canada. I never received a refund, even though they had canceled, not me. I have sent two emails and have not received a response.
Hi Tamara, we did cancel this tour as it’s not a tour that you can do for one person it’s simply not the same experience that we expect from our company. When you booked and paid you booked via an agent and paid the agent directly, no payment was made directly to us, when the tour was cancelled we let the agent know to refund your booking it can take some agents longer than others to refund but I can assure you that we have done everything on our end and you need to let the agent that you paid know that you are disgruntled. This review has been made for our company and we have no control over agent communication and refunds so I’d appreciate it if you removed it and contact your agent.
Our driver was friendly and fun, but had only been on the job for two weeks. He didn't help us old ladies off and on the bus. He seemed unsure of the plan when we arrived at the first winery. Apparently we were supposed to be joined by another bus load from the same tour company. We spent too much time at the first winery. Some of us customers had ordered cheese plates to go with the tastings but some had not. More confusion about that. One customer had not signed up for the distillery visit at the end of the tour, so the bus dropped him off in a park a few blocks away! Very odd, if you ask me. On the drive back to Brisbane my husband and I got into a discussion of American politics with the driver. As it happens, we are on the same side, but I am surprised his company would allow such discussions. Again, the driver was fun and personable, but not well trained.
Frist time visiting Mt Tamborine area. The pick up from the designated point went smoothly. Had a great day with my boyfriend.
I went on the full day wine-tasting tour in the mountains, and while it had its highlights, the experience was a bit of a mixed bag. Let’s start with the positives. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, making for a beautiful backdrop to the day. We visited multiple vineyards, and I was impressed by the variety and quality of the wines. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. A visit to a distillery was also included, which was a nice change of pace and added an interesting twist to the day. The food at lunch was another standout. The salmon paired perfectly with the wines, enhancing the flavors and making for a truly memorable meal. It was a delight having time to chat with others on the tour. Now, for the downsides. Unfortunately, communication from the tour organizers was lacking. The pickup was confusing and delayed, which set a frustrating tone at the start of the day. But the driver was friendly and resourceful which helped.
Paul was fantastic very personable and funny. He gave us us tons of great information. The people at the first two wineries did not impress us. They gave very little information and were not at all personal. The lunch took way too long and the workers were more interested in moving tables and chairs. The last two stops were great
Hi Camille, I've looked at your itinerary and I've spoken to Paul and he did mention that Lunch did take a little longer than usual that day and its completely out of our control as we don't own the restaurant. It's a fantastic setting next to the lake and with a glass of wine in hand the time normally flies by. These reviews affect our business so its best practice to review based on our performance and not the Staff at a venues that we visit. I'm glad that Paul was fantastic and I hope that you were able to enjoy your day. These reviews
I had a great day, the wine was good, lunch was good even the misty scenery was an interesting twist on the day and the company was fun. My only comment is I chose this tour (cost a bit more than others) because there was an option to pickup at Portside, Hamilton. Only to be contacted the night before and advised I had to make the 1 hour trip to South Bank to pickup this tour.
