Really nice way to explore the Gothic district of Barcelona. One thing of note--you should use a earbud/headphone due to the street noise.
Guide was very good and informative. Unfortunately it was made very clear at the beginning that this was not a free tour as advertised - we were EXPECTED to pay at least 20 € each at the end
I've never been to Barcelona before, so I was a bit concerned that I'd get lost in the labyrinth of the old town centre, but this tour is crystal clear with its directions. It doesn't just take you to the main tourist traps, but off the beaten track (just a little bit) to look at a variety of attractions. From street art, markets, Gaudí architecture, and historical sites - to the oldest restaurant and cafe in Barcelona. I loved the fact that it wasn't a dry history lesson, or detailed description of the methods a building was created, but a light-hearted walk with funny stories, interesting facts, top attractions and some urban legends. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and it actually gave me a great insight to Barcelona's great history, and the people who built and inhabited the place. Exactly the right vibe for a weekend visitor. 5 stars.
App based tour… while the stops along the tour were great, the UX was awful and the gps continued to confuse my orientation and position so had to use google maps half the time.
Hi there, Thanks for your honest feedback. I'm happy to hear you enjoyed the tour stops. I'm sorry to hear that you had difficulties with the tour's navigation. We do provide a map on your screen, which is especially helpful if the GPS positioning seems off. This sometimes happens in areas with tall buildings or narrow streets that can affect GPS accuracy. When you were having technical difficulties, did you contact VoiceMap support via email or telephone? We are contactable by both telephone and email, so if you have technical difficulties, please reach out to us so we can identify what is going wrong. Thank you again for the feedback. Best, Helene
It was nice to be able to go at our own pace and not be in a huge crowd. I was impressed with the directions and how the tour guide kept pace with our walking. Would definitely do again
Fun to go at your own pace. A little confusing as to how to start and to follow. But in fairness, it may have been my lack of prep in ising the app. But the tour gave some very good information and a great value.
A really enjoyable walking tour discovering areas that we wouldn’t have found otherwise. Very entertaining, our family of three all enjoyed it. Especially being able to stop and pause where we wanted to.
We really enjoyed the audio tour, having the opportunity to make stops as we liked was very relaxing and fun. The audio is clear and very easy to follow through the city. Very recommended!!
Very insighting and enjoyable! Highly recommend! Learnt a lot from this audio tour and really brought the area to life.
I booked several experiences for our trip and found this to be the one we enjoyed the most. The program was easy to install, easy to fallow, and extremely informative and interesting. I wish I had downloaded it for every place we visited but we didn't use it until the end of our trip. I will definitely be using this again.
