Itinerary
Meet your local guide outside the iconic Gran Teatre del Liceu and leave the busy boulevard behind as you step into the hidden lanes of Barcelona's Old Town. Within minutes, you'll find yourself in a different world of medieval streets, local taverns, and neighbourhood stories that most visitors never get to experience.
Wander through the atmospheric streets of the Gothic Quarter, where centuries of history unfold around every corner. As you stroll through hidden squares and narrow alleyways, your guide will share stories of daily life, local traditions, and the characters who have shaped this neighbourhood for generations. This is Barcelona beyond the guidebooks.
Your evening begins the way many locals start a night out: at a beloved neighbourhood bar known for serving one of Barcelona's most iconic tapas, the famous bomba. Pair this local favourite with a refreshing beer as you settle into the city's relaxed social culture and discover why tapas are about far more than food—they're about bringing people together.
Continue into El Call, Barcelona's historic Jewish Quarter, where winding alleyways reveal hidden corners and centuries of history. Tucked away from the tourist crowds, you'll step inside a traditional local bodega where Barcelonans gather to share food, conversation, and a glass of vermouth or cava. Enjoy a generous selection of local favourites, including croquettes, patatas bravas, padrón peppers, bread with tomato, and other seasonal specialties, while learning how these simple dishes became staples of Catalan food culture.
As the evening unfolds, pass through some of the Old Town's most beautiful corners, where Gothic architecture, hidden plazas, and artistic surprises tell the story of Barcelona's rich cultural heritage. Along the way, your guide will introduce you to a traditional local sweet—a small but memorable taste of the city's culinary traditions and a perfect pause before the final stop
End your evening at a historic vermouth cellar, one of the city's most beloved social institutions. Sip a glass of traditional vermouth and enjoy a final local bite as you soak up the atmosphere and reflect on an evening spent eating, drinking, and exploring Barcelona the way locals do. By now, you'll have experienced not just the flavours of the city, but the traditions and neighbourhood culture that make Barcelona so special.

Giuliana was our tour guide in Barcelona, Spain. She was very knowledgeable of the area and very kind. She went the extra step to help give us recommendations outside the tour for the remainder of our stay. Overall, a great experience and amazing food!
Giuliana was a fantastic tour guide. Made us feel so welcomed and had amazing knowledge about the area. She took us to old, but amazing places and the food and drinks were sensational. She also gave us other recommendations for dessert and food which is very helpful when on holidays!
Giulianna was outstanding! Her knowledge and passion for her job was obvious.

we had a great experience with our tour guide Lili!!
Fantastic experience , great food and drinks
Lili our tour guide provided a great experience of the tapas culture of the Gothic quarter. It was well organised. We tasted many different dishes we wouldn't have known to try
Lily was a great guide through the gothic quarter. Pointing out interesting places and facts on our walks between places. It was great to try tapas at bars that have been owned by families for 5 generations. Each location had great atmosphere and delicious food and drinks. Catering to people wanting alcohol and also non alcoholic. Would definitely recommend that you try. This was our last night in Barcelona if you can do it earlier so you can go back and try other tapas that would give you locations to try on the other nights.
We have had a fantastic time! Lilli is an amazing guide and we learnt so much and tasted dishes and visited places we would never have found without Lilli. Thank you so much for an amazing tour! Highly recommended
