Sergio was by far the best tour guide I've ever had. He was incredibly friendly, funny, and exceptionally knowledgeable throughout the entire Barcelona Highlights & Sagrada Familia Tour. What really stood out was how much he cared about everyone having a great experience. He offered to take photos for people, pointed out the best spots for pictures, and even shared excellent local restaurant recommendations. Our group had a couple of slower-moving participants, but Sergio did a fantastic job keeping the tour on schedule while making sure everyone felt included and comfortable. He also made a point to speak with every person in the group individually, which added a very personal touch and made everyone feel welcome. His energy, expertise, and attention to detail made the tour both informative and enjoyable. If you're lucky enough to get Sergio as your guide, you're in for an amazing experience. Highly recommend!
The tour was very informative and Sergio kept us completely engaged. The tour of the Gothic center was very interesting. The tour of the Sagrada Família was abit chaotic, but Sergio kept us on track. Unfortunately by the time we reached the Gaudi Milà house we were all a bit exhausted after experiencing Parc Güell.
Xavier was our guide and he was extremely knowledgeable about the history of our tour. The architecture of La Sagrada Familia is unbelievable and Xavier knew everything about it. He was like a talking history book. He’s an amazing guide.
This tour offered a great way to experience Barcelona in a day. And you know what makes an experience even greater? The right guide. And Rod was absolutely the right guide. Now, I have been on a lot of tours in my life. And this one covers it all. Jewish Quarter, Montjuïc, Park Güell, La Pedrera, and all of it done in style, because between stops there was an air conditioned bus. In Barcelona. In that heat. I cannot overstate what this means for the human body and spirit. The Jewish Quarter alone could have been its own tour. Like you are transported to medieval times, except with better shoes and the knowledge that a cool bus is waiting for you around the corner. Park Güell was something else entirely. If only Gaudí could have completed the project. It would have made for a very whimsy and surreal place to live. La Pedrera continued the Gaudí cinematic universe beautifully. The curves, the rooftop, the warrior chimneys. And the Sagrada Família skip-the-line situation is worth the price of admission alone. Standing in that scorching heat without a plan would have been a crime against humanity. Skipping the line felt like a genuine VIP privilege. Every inch of the Basilica is covered with intricate, meaningful and symbolic details. A truly beautiful and ambitious project, to say the least. Gaudí was a genius and also possibly a little unhinged, which I respect deeply (Once you get the scoop on his personal life, you might say "Ah, that explains it".) Individual questions were welcomed and answered thoroughly, which as someone who had many questions, I appreciated enormously. Three days in Barcelona? This tour is non-negotiable. I ran into the guide a few days later in Girona. I of course sprinted over to say hello. Just a wonderful, wonderful human being. Merci!
It was an all day Barcelona trip with Rod. Amazing tour guide! Timeliness, lively, respectful, knowledgeable, very experience, funny, and thoughtful. He loves Barcelona which means he makes us fall in love with Barcelona ie catalian.
Our family had one full day to explore Barcelona- this tour was perfect. We hit all the “must sees” of Barcelona. Our tour guide, Mel, was amazing. We could not have had a better experience. Our family (ranging in age from 14- 78 years old) all have a new appreciation of Barcelona. I would highly recommend this experience.
Great time and very informative. Very passionate about the history of Barcelona.
An interesting and informative excursion is full of many facts and historical information. Special thanks to the guide Rodrigo for explaining the essence of how the Catalans differ from the Spaniards.
