Check in at River City Complex Mall Morning check in 9.30 am.(2 hours tour) boarding 10.00 am. Afternoon check in 14.00 hrs.(2 hours tour)boarding 14.30 hrs.. Bangkok Canal Tour with Longtail Boat Enjoy 2 hours long tail boat journey in Bangkok. Meet your guide at River City Shopping mall and visit the old city of Thonburi, an independent province until it was merged with Bangkok in 1971. Many of the traditional small waterways and klongs still exist there. Experience the local way of living, rarely seen from the other side of town. Historically, the Thai capital Bangkok was crisscrossed by klongs (canals), and gained the nickname "Venice of the East". Klongs were used for transportation and for floating markets, but also for sewage disposal. Today, most of the khlongs of Bangkok have been filled in, although the Thonburi side of Bangkok (covering areas west of Chao Phraya River) still retains several of its larger khlongs.

Nice visit, small group of 8 people. however the waiting time at the locks can be a bit long with the heat.

We had a tour on the Chao Prayha River with Bo Bo as our guide. It was a very informative and interesting experience. Bangkok is a river city and the river was and is still, a major transport route. Not just staying on the main river, the tour took us off on a smaller canal which reached to the outskirts of Bangkok. Bo Bo had great English. The sound system was ok but at times I struggled to understand what was being said. Not Bo Bo’s fault though. He was knowledgeable and explained the sites and history very well. I would recommend this tour.

This is a great shorter trip booked via our tour operator TUI. Definitely an eye opener with the way people live in the canals. It was a small group tour which was great with taxi drop offs and pick ups running seamlessly. Definitely recommend.
Thank you for your positive comment we will keep this service for future traveler ever and welcome to come back again. With best regards,...
