Wat Benchamabophit Dusitvanaram is a Buddhist temple in the Dusit District of Bangkok, Thailand. Also known as the Marble Temple, it is one of Bangkok's best-known temples and a major tourist attraction. Wat Benchamabophit (the Marble Temple) was designed by Prince Narisara Nuwattiwong. It typifies the impressive and orderly traditional Thai architecture. <p>Bankgok was heaving with tourists since it was the Chinese New Year Celebration. Our tour guide was a bit quirky but once we adjusted to his style he was informative and allowed us the freedom to explore some of the major sites on our own after giving us good backround. If you decide to take the private tour I would recommend doing homework to be sure that you see and do things in and around Bangkok that speak to your interests. We did this and I believe it made the tour better since we communicated what we wanted with our tour guide. I was pleasantly surprised how easy booking was and how every thing worked as planned.</p>
