yes. The tour was interesting except too much time was spent in chinatown. While the hotel was very good, I would have preferred to stay in a more modern area of the city.
A great experience and one I would recommend. The guide was great and allowed us lots of time to look around and take photos in an unhurried way. We saw many things on the tour from temples, to bars, to street food which we were able to sample. It was a great way to see bits of Bangkok in a fun way.
We had a great time on our tour yesterday with Markie, who was an excellent tour guide. We hadn't realised how many things would be shut as it was New Years Day, and how many tuk tuk drivers wouldn't be working! Markie was fantastic at thinking on her feet and coming up with alternative suggestions for us for places to go and see and we had such fun! Because of the location of our hotel, and it being New Years Day, we ended up travelling via, metro, sky train, mono rail, tuk tuk and boat - great experience, especially the tuk tuk rides 😁 The food in China Town was excellent and we tried lots of different things, even deep fried bugs! Overall, and considering the difficulties of the choice of day, we had a brilliant time, and Markie was fantastic throughout - she really made the experience work for us! Many thanks Markie 😊🙏
Thank you so much for your review :)
