Many impressions, many interesting visits, and a tour guide who spoke very good German and English. Thank you, Tom. I have rarely seen anyone who can tell so much in such a short time. And he does it in a way that you still take away the most and it is always presented interestingly. Since he does this tour very often, he knows all the contacts, and the trip is perfectly organized as a result. Apparently, the criticism from other comments has been taken into account, as now there is sufficient time for each visit. It is definitely worth the money. I would do it again immediately, again with Tom.
We chose our tour carefully, especially because of the cafe and banana plantations. In addition, we enjoyed beautiful tastings of rum, wine and a cheese platter as well as the preparation of mojo sauce in a pleasant atmosphere with an extremely friendly guide and bus driver. Along the way, there was a lot of information about Gran Canaria and its natives, so the journey flew by. Of course, a short shop visit was also planned at each location, but nothing was imposed on us. For lunch, a menu was offered to choose from. However, we cannot comment on this, as we have not used it. The time while the others ate was well spent exploring Agaete. The way back was fast and quiet. After all the delicious tastings and experiences, we were able to relax.
The excursion was amongst the best we have ever been on. Our tour guide was superb; she kept us informed and entertained. We kept to time and each experience was excellent. The tour was very good value for money as it involved lots of tasting experiences. The rum tasting was brilliant. Banana museum also very good and Canarian bananas really are tasty! All in all a great day. Thank you!
Very nice day out with Tom the host. At the banana farm we learned a lot about a banana. Never knew. Tasting is a joy. The rum distillery is interesting, and there is a rum for every person. The rum with honey is the best. After a simple lunch that you pay for yourself there is just not enough time to enjoy to the fullest the wine and coffee farm and tasting is done in a hurry which is a pitty because there is wine and coffee made there with a real love for it. That should have a half hour more to tast their produce. Its worth it!
We had a nice day with a professional guide and a pleasant driver. The places we visited had their own local guides who were also good. At the last stop, the vineyard was the program a bit hectic. Here they could reduce the number of activities or increase the time frame.
Avoid was all very rushed and poor, 2 friends was very sick and wouldn’t offer a refund and not very accommodating at all
all the info is clearly indicated on product and Policies of booking. With less than 24 hours notice there is no refund. Regards
Very nice places to visit. The bus driver had two positions on gas and brake. On or off. It became uneven driving and impossible to hear what the guide said in the bus
The banana museum surprised me very positively as I learned many things. Our guide made it 10. Andrea explains things very didactically. Bravo andrea
Booked this trip not knowing exactly what to expect and ended up learning a lot. Communication with the tour company was great very helpful finding the exact pick up location then went to a hub to meet up with the bulk of the rest of the tour on a different coach The guide was very helpful and informative and our party was made up of English and German speakers Banana museum was a little walk from the bus drop off ( not great for those with mobility issues) and the museum itself was a lovely place great tasting session and amazing views. The rum distillery was also informative but our small English speaking group from the coach was joined by other English speaking groups from other tours making it very large and sometimes hard to hear the guide from the distillery. The rum tasting session was great and they were not just small shots so very enjoyable The trip to the lunch stop was not a long one and food was ok €15 a head for 3 courses and a drink Unfortunately the coach had a issue so had to wait for a replacement but this was only 30 minutes or so The coffee plantation tour also involves a lot of walking hut again very interesting and enjoyable the food and drink and the hostess were wonderful The coach dropped us off at our hotel around 18.00 so it was a a full day out well woth the money
This is an excellent excursion in every way. Very informative guide and a good chance to see part of the Island as well as the threes stops for the Banana Plantation, Run tasting and lastly the Coffee Growing. Everything was fine but…. If you are getting on and have difficulty walking, the Coffee place especially was a bit hard work getting up the path to. Otherwise a very good excursion.
