Itinerary
CDMX pickup (approx. 4:30 a.m. – 5:00 a.m.) Our drivers will pick you up from your hotel, Airbnb or agreed point in Mexico City in a comfortable and secure van headed to Teotihuacan.
Arrival in Teotihuacan and check-in (6:00 a.m.) Welcome to our operational base (port balloon), where you can enjoy coffee, sweet bread before the flight. Balloon flight over the Teotihuacan archaeological site (6:30 a.m. – 7:30 a.m.) Enjoy a spectacular view of the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon from the sky, an unparalleled experience. Includes toast and flight certificate upon landing.
Arrival: 8:00-8:30am Enjoy a typical Mexican breakfast in a restaurant located inside a natural grotto. A unique space with pre-Hispanic atmosphere, where you can taste traditional dishes such as chilaquiles, tamales, fresh fruit, pot coffee and more.
Arrival: 9:00-9:30am You will meet a cooperative founded by local artisans, where we will show you the traditional process to work the obsidian. In addition, you will enjoy a free tasting of pulque, mezcal and tequila, as part of the cultural experience.
Exclusive cave spiritual tour (10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.) Access a private cave where a ritual of introspection and ancestral connection is performed. You will see how your body emits energy through the projected reflection. Unique space, only for our passengers.
You will have up to 1 hour free to explore the archaeological area on your own. You can walk between the pyramids of the Sun and Moon, take photos and connect with the history of this millennial site. (Entrance fee not included – approximate cost: $5 USD per person)
At the end of the experience, we will take you back to the same point where you were picked up in Mexico City, in a comfortable and safe transport. It is important to consider that all times are approximate, as they may vary slightly for traffic or weather conditions. Also, ballooning depends on wind currents, so it is not 100% guaranteed to fly directly over the archaeological area. However, in 90% of the cases we did manage to do it, and it always provides a spectacular view of the Teotihuacan Valley. Thank you for living this experience with us. I had such an amazing experience on my hot air balloon ride this morning! Everything from start to finish was smooth, well-organized, and truly enjoyable. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the entire atmosphere felt peaceful and unforgettable. A special thank you to our tour guide (Luis) your professionalism, friendliness, and knowledge made the experience even more special. You made everyone feel comfortable and added so much to the overall ride x tours. There were so many pros to this experience, which made the slight hiccups non-important. The communication about pick up was super clear and our driver was already outside at our 4:30am call time. We picked up a couple other folks on the way, some who were doing other tours. We were taken care of the entire day with staff checking us in, driving us to the hot air balloon spot, taking us to breakfast, and taking us on a small tour of the Mercado artisinal in Teotihuacan. There was always someone at the ready to guide us to the next step. Every person we talked to was incredibly kind and patient, which is why the hiccups weren’t a big deal. The balloon we were originally supposed to fly in ended up not being cleared, so we had to move to a different balloon in a different field and took off later in the morning that originally anticipated. The new pilot did a surprise second takeoff for us, which was incredibly kind. So the balloon we did all the pictures and videos with wasn’t the one we ended up riding, which again isn’t a big deal. The drone video that was shot was short because of the balloon change, but we didn’t intend on buying it, so again, no big deal. However, because of the unforeseen changes, they sent us our video for free which was so kind, especially because they weren’t at fault and couldn’t control any of it. The breakfast was special, being in a cave, although the food options were limited to enchiladas, chilaquiles, or huevos al gusto. The tour was amazing! Overall it was a great experience, and I’m so happy we did it!

This experience was really fun and highly recommend. When there was an issue with riding the hot air balloon, they solved it right away and did not let it ruin our experience. I appreciated the kindness and hospitality shown by the crew. If you are thinking about it, I say do it!

We had an amazing experience!! The balloon trip was simply spectacular, a unique experience that exceeded all our expectations. From sunrise to panoramic views, everything was perfectly organized and safe. Our tour of the ruins was also very enriching.
