The title refers to our all-inclusive package, which includes round trip transportation from Mexico City, pick-up available from hotels, Airbnb and others 4.5 km from the Angel of Independence, balloon flight 35 minutes, breakfast at emblematic restaurant La Gruta, craft shop and finally a guided tour in the archaeological area with certified bilingual guides. Balloon flight is our cheapest option and you will need to arrive at our facilities Balloon Airport Aerostat Balloon flight, grotto and round trip are for those who want a shorter tour without missing breakfast in La Gruta, includes pick up 4.5 km from the Angel of Independence, 35 min flight, breakfast and return to the Angel *Flying over pyramids or near archaeological site depends on the wind.

4:10 - 4:50am We will pick you up in your hotel or Airbnb as long as it is 5km around Angel of independence, punctuality is priority considering that various pick ups could be done in the same vehicle. For the 7am soto time, pick up would be breteen 5am and 6: 30 am, this depends on the sunrise that shifts during the year since Mexico eliminated the change of time for summer or winter time.
6:00 - 6:15 am Arrival to take off area, Hot air balloon ride with take off minutes after sunrise, that will let you experience stunning views of the archeological zone from the moment you take off, surrounded by colorful hot air balloons in a privileged take off zone. *Flight above archeological zone is limited by weather conditions that determine the wind direction. This is a shared ballon flight. For the 7am slot you'll be depending on the return of the sunrise hot air ballon ride of the 5am, start would be between 7:30 - 8:00am. We recommend to schedule this flight only if the 5am schedule is full considering that ballloon return may vary depending on the landing spot and other logistics factors. The 7am balloon flight is thought for those who couldn't find flying space in the 5am slot and they are wishing last days in Mexico City or is last opportunity to live experience due to agenda.
After you balloon flight you will be taken to restaurant la Gruta, natural cave restaurant to enjoy breakfast and an amazing view. Remember to take a photo by the entrance with your group. You can have coffee or tea, and you’ll need to choose 1 of the following dishes. Omellette, Chilaquiles with or without meat, we also have vegan option. In case you want a different dish from Menu, plate will have to be paid separately.
After your breakfast you will be taken to enjoy a liquor tasting from the area and a brief demonstration of the craft workshops, considering volcanic rock (obsidian), color in textile crafts
During your access to archeological zone, a certified guide by the tourism department of Mexico, with spanish as a native language and english as a second language, will give you the pyramids tour, with historical and official records. Your access to archeological zone is included only if you buy the all inclusive package.
When you select all inclusive package you’ll be taken back to Mexico City with the drop off in the angel of independence due to Mexico City traffic

Pickup Locations & Times
Pickups are available in selected areas of Mexico City, usually near the Angel of Independence. Your driver will contact you the night before your tour to confirm the exact pick-up time and location, which may vary depending on the dawn and logistics of the vehicle. Can't find your hotel? Try typing the name in the browser to check availability. If your location is outside the pickup area, we will coordinate a nearby meeting point. Passengers who book All Inclusive or Flight + Transportation packages will be transferred to the Angel of Independence upon return. Passengers who book Flight Only or Flight + Breakfast packages will end their experience at our Teotihuacan facility.

Flight was very nice but we did not fly over pyramids which was a bummer. A lot of other hot air balloons did, which made me more upset. I think the pilot flew us way too high! It was not windy at all. I Will try the company next door next time. I saw a lot of their balloons fly low over pyramids! Also the tour package made it seem like it included the pyramid tour and the tour guide said it didn’t unless we pay extra. I feel it needs to clear what we are paying for. The grotto is very nice but the food not worth my money.

Flying directly over the pyramids is never something that can be guaranteed, as the flight path is entirely determined by wind direction and speed to ensure a safe operation. During the summer months, the atmosphere warms up very quickly after sunrise, and even a departure difference of just a couple of minutes can place balloons in different wind currents, resulting in completely different flight paths. This is why you may see some balloons following a different route than others, even when they take off from nearby locations. Regarding the tour package, we offer three different experiences, each with a distinct name, price, and detailed list of inclusions. The complete experience, which includes the guided archaeological tour, is our All-Inclusive package. Everyone from Carlos the driver, Jessica the tour guide, to Alejandro the pilot were super friendly and professional. We were well taken care of. The breakfast in the cave actually exceeded my expectations. And of course the flight was just amazing! We did the trip with our seven year old daughter and she loved it. It's a bit hard for her to see over the rail in the beginning but once we are in the air Alejandro put her on top of the inside railing and she ended up with the best view!
Everything ok. All went smooth. We had great views of the pyramids. We left on time. We had a very smooth landing.
