Tirta Gangga literally means water from the Ganges River which is a tribute to the Balinese Hindu community. This name refers to the water palace which was built in 1948 by Raja Karangasem, Anak Agung Anglurah Ketut Karangasem Agung. However, this name is also used to refer to areas that include water palaces along with fertile rural areas around them. The Tirta Gangga Water Palace is a maze of ponds and fountains surrounded by lush gardens and statues. This one-hectare complex was built in 1946 by the late Raja Karangasem but was almost completely destroyed by the eruption of Mount Agung in 1963. [1] Then rebuilt and restored. The area around Tirta Gangga is famous for its rice terraces.
Its hidden location and slightly difficult access, does not necessarily discourage tourists from coming to see its natural beauty. Tukad Cepung Bali Waterfall is surrounded by rock cliffs that add to its uniqueness. Visitors must sneak between cliffs that almost resemble a cave before reaching the Tukad Cepung Waterfall.

Honestly, this was one of the best tours I’ve experienced. It was intended to be a group tour, but it somehow turned into a solo experience, which I didn’t mind at all. After several days of rain, today, September 11, the weather was wonderful, and I had the pleasure of traveling with Suru, who was amazing. His deep knowledge of the areas made me feel comfortable. I usually get car sick, so I slept for most of the journey. He was very patient while waiting with me at the heaven gate to take a photo,, which took quite some time, and he safely brought me back to my hotel. I will certainly recommend this service.
Komang yudana was a good host, driver and a friend along the way. We went to Bali swing, Lempuyang temple, tirth Ganga temple. He explained to us Bali history, took so many pictures of us. Guided us really well. All in all a great journey thanks to Mr. Komang.. he came inspite of the bad weather, unexpected rains. We had a lovely time. Instagram Tour was a success.

We had an amazing day, our guide Santika (Uncle Bond) was amazing. We recommend him as he has taken us through the lush valleys and amazing rice terraces on our way. At Happy Swing Bali, they take amazing photos. (If you go early, there is very little crowd) the people are amazing !!!
