D R A M A T I S C H Please stay away from this tour. We waited an hour and a half for the driver. They just didn't show up??? They can't be reached either. Very amateurish. Stay away from this tour. You've been warned.
Margot was the best tour guide ever! If I never did this tour I wouldn’t of ever experienced Bali to the fullest. I got to see some of the best sights to see in Bali. I highly recommend you get Marcot thru tourbalidriver.com
So I decided to do this tour for my bday on my first ever solo trip! This was a very big deal! I visited two temples, a rice terrace and waterfall. When I met Putu, my tour guide/driver, she was lovely from the start! She ensured that I was comfortable, offered me water and even brought me fruit. Most importantly, she helped me a lotttt when it came to the waterfall, she literally helped me step by step when I was walking barefoot. She really encouraged me to take more beautiful pictures than I had intended and I am really glad she did! She also kept singing me happy birthday which always put a smile on my face! Defo recommend! Thank you Putu! ;)
Took this trip yesterday. Early pickup which is good and a very friendly driver. Made the hours in the cat very enoyable. We got to Lempuyang early and got to see the place without so many people around. Water Temple and the waterfall was also beautiful. We also stopped at a coffe plantation and got to try som coffe and te
We really loved this trip around Bali’s beautiful locations with Agus Bali Tour driver. Agus was a great driver and took some great pictures for us, he had good English. Allowed us time to stop whenever we wanted to take a picture. Highly recommend. Have some great pictures and memories of Bali !!
The tour is a good way to see a lot of the touristy sites. I found it a bit anticlimactic in some respects. The first stop the Lempuyang Temple, is a 2 hour drive from the hotel area. We were lucky to be able to drive almost all the way up to the temple site. The climb to the temple is up a steep hill you should be relatively fit to do it. Once there you literally have a few second to take that iconic photo. It seemed a waste to drive 2 hours for a few seconds to take the photo. The other stops were much more fulfilling. Tirta Gangga Magical Water Palace is really nice, great spot for photography. The next stop was a rice field, followed by the Tukad Cepung waterfall. This waterfall requires a bit of a hike down some steep steps. The waterfall is good for taking photos. It is very humid. We stopped at a woodcarving location. The prices were very high and you see the same things all over the place. Last stop was the coffee plantation where the beans are 'processed' by civet cats. There was a tasting of teas, coffees. I did not like the coffee but the teas were great. Actually bought 3 of the types of teas.
We went yesterday expecting to see amazing Bali with this private tour "Bali Private Tour". Our tour guide smelled bad, he was driving so slowly, when we got down the car he was always talking in his Phone, he didn't even tell us about Bali's history. Really it was not a nice trip and I don't recommend it. The price was not worth it. And he was a terrible photographer (I don't ask for a professional photographer but we los a lot of great photos because all of them were blurry) Better to rent a motorcycle and go by yourself.
We had a fantastic tour a couple of weeks ago and our guide was Made - he was so informative and helpful which made the experience even better. Highly recommended tour.
