Bali Full Day Temple Tour - Private Sightseeing Trip is one of the most popular tour packages with exciting experience to visit Balinese temples and it's culture. The trip will be start from your hotel then we take you to visit Kehen Temple which is impressive temple with old banyan tree and large trees surrounding it. Then next destination is visiting Besakih Temple which is known as quite unique as it basically consists of more than 80 individual temples. Lunch will be serve at restaurant, then after lunch we will take you to visit Tirta Empul Temple, famous for it's holy water where Balinese hindu people go for purification. Our next destination is visiting Gunung Kawi Rocky Temple, known as and archaeological complex is carved out of the living rock, dating back to 11th century. Then our last journey is visiting Goa Gajah Temple or Elephant Cave Temple, is an archaeological site of significant historical value that makes it a special place to visit.

Kehen Temple which is believed to have been built even before construction of the town and now lies at the outskirts of the city. The town itself is dominated by the royal houses spread around its main square. Kehen Temple is the royal ancestral temple of Bangli Kingdom, one of the eight most important royal houses on Bali. Literally meaning the temple of the hearth or the household, this refers to Hyang Api or the God of Fire, symbol of the Hindu god Brahma.
Besakih Temple which is known as Balis Mother Temple for over 1,000 years, sits 1,000 meters high on the southwestern slopes of Mount Agung. Besakih is an artistic and unique complex that comprises at least 86 temples which include the main Pura Penataran Agung (the Great Temple of State) and 18 others. Besakih is the biggest and holiest of the island temples and is surrounded by breathtaking and scenic rice paddies, hills, mountains, streams and more.
Tirta Empul Temple is an important temple complex and holy mountain spring located in the village of Manukaya in central Bali. The site serves as a legendary setting of a traditional tale about good versus evil, its also a national cultural heritage site. The complex built in 960 AD is also a silent witness to the old Balinese kingdom years, particularly at the time of the Warmadewa Dynasty. Another nearby and prominent site on top of a hill is the presidential palace, Istana Tampaksiring, built during the years of the nation first president, Soekarno.
In order to get to Gunung Kawi Rocky Temple need to walk down to the valley on a couple hundreds step. There are some shops along the way selling typical tourist stuff although they also sell some unique handicrafts like coconut shell carving and bone carving. Bone carvings are indeed available all over Bali but its originally from this village. Some of talented carver specializing in carving the bone or even ivory are coming from this area.
Goa Gajah Temple name is slightly misleading, lending the impression that its a gigantic dwelling full of elephants. Nevertheless, Goa Gajah Elephant Cave is an archaeological site of significant historical value that makes it a special place to visit. Located on the cool western edge of Bedulu Village, six kilometers out of central Ubud, you do not need more than an hour to descend to its relic filled courtyard and view the rock-wall carvings, a central meditational cave, bathing pools and fountains.

The experience of taking a private tour makes us enjoy it much more and have the time we wanted to spend in each place. We visited, Monkey Forest, Rice Terrace, Holy spring Temple, elephant Temple, waterfall Tegenungam and Tanah lot. Everything was magnificent and we were able to do it in 10 hours thanks to our guide. WAYAN Balik, who despite not speaking Spanish with his Google translations made himself understood perfectly. All 10 points!!
