Ubud Royal Palace or Puri Saren Ubud is one of the most prominent places in Ubud, as it is smack dab on the main Jalan Raya Ubud road and intersection. The palace can also be regarded as the focal landmark of Ubud. The Ubud palace was built during the lordship of the late Ida Tjokorda Putu Kandel (1800-1823) and is well kept by his successive heirs. A visit to the Puri Saren is on many of the itineraries to the Ubud area.
Ubud Art Market locally referred to as Pasar Seni Ubud is located opposite the the Puri Saren Royal Ubud Palace and is open daily. Here you can find beautiful silk scarves, lightweight shirts, handmade woven bags, baskets or hats, statues, kites and many other hand crafted goods. Most of the goods found at the Ubud Market are made in the neighboring villages of Pengosekan, Tegallalang, Payangan and Peliatan.
Tegalalang Rice Terrace which according to history, was passed down by a revered holy man named Rsi Markandeya in the eighth century. Tegalalang forms the three most splendid terraced landscapes in Ubud shared region, with the others being in the villages of Pejeng and Campuhan. Tegalalang Rice Terrace alone has an outlook that spreads down before you and away to the rice terraces on the slopes across the valley. The high roadside location is cool and breezy and it is a well known spot for tourists to stop and take photos.
Goa Gajah Temple is an archaeological site of significant historical value that makes it a special place to visit. Located on the cool western edge of Bedulu Village, six kilometers out of central Ubud, you do not need more than an hour to descend to its relic filled courtyard and view the rock-wall carvings, a central meditational cave, bathing pools and fountains. The temple name is slightly misleading, lending the impression that its a gigantic dwelling full of elephants.
Bali Swing houses numerous jungle swings ranging from 10m, 15m, 20m and 78m above ground. A treat for adrenaline junkies, each swing comes with its own unique thrill factor so depending on how ballsy you are, choose your swing wisely.

The vehicle was very spacious and comfortable. Budi was on time at the port for pick up. He is a very accommodating & courteous person. He was extremely helpful to my spouse as we are both 80+. He also selected a venue of sites as we were unfamiliar with the area. The National Park (Father of All Beings temple) was the highlight.

Budi was a great guide and very flexible even when we weren’t sure what we wanted to do. He had to drive through rush hour traffic and we arrived here me later than planned - he always remained cheerful.

Another trip with Agus (our driver) we visited tanah lot temple and uluwatu temple and when go to padang padang beach. Food ( lunch and dinner) were also included in a fair price. Both temples were amazing. The padang padang beach was also lovely. Agus is very nice and helpful and made a lot of pictures of me and my family. He take care of our staff during we were snorkeling at padang padang beach. I can only recommend to book with this company. Regards Thomas

We spent the day in Ubud touring which is great for those interested in artisan processes of rice growing, making dyed fabric, stone/wood carving and jewellry making etc. Saw the Batuan Temple (1000 year old temple) which had people restoring the stone carvings at the time of our visit, fed the fish at the temple and learnt about the religion. We visited the butterfly 🦋 park and Tengenungan Waterfall where we swam beneath the waterfall. We also visited the rice fields which had a swing, zipping and sky bikes. The tour is very flexible to add or change different activities or food venues to your preferences and very well priced to have a personal driver for the day. We got to see the batik fabric making process and silver/gold jewellery making process as this was interesting to us. This company has many tour options and has a great driver named Agung who has driven us for multiple days and has looked after us and taken us where we wanted to go.
