Tirta Gangga literally translates to water from the Ganges and it is a site of some reverence for the Hindu Balinese. Water palace built in 1948 by the Raja of Karangasem, Anak Agung Anglurah Ketut Karangasem. Tirta Gangga is a maze of pools and fountains surrounded by a lush garden and stone carvings and statues. Five stars for Putu! He provided us with a day we will never forget! He was waiting in the hotel lobby for us, comfortable car for our family of five adults, had cold water waiting for us, had planned the day to get to the swings and nests early so we avoided the crowds, and navigated the traffic of Ubud smoothly for us. We ❤️ Putu and TripAdvisor!
The highlight of our Bali Trip! Dewa was our tour guide and he went above and beyond for our tour! He was on time/early for our pickup, very knowledgeable about Bali and all the sights we visited, great driver and great conversationalist! He even went out of his way to get us fresh coconut and mangosteen from a tree!!! Highly recommend this tour and tour guide and would book again if I ever return!
Very good experience. The tour operator suggested to start earlier than the normal time and it was an excellent idea as we avoided crowds and traffic which gets chaotic around Ubud later in the morning. Our guide, Mr. Putu, was very nice, informative and let us spend as much time as we liked at the various places.
Today I did the tour with my guide. I am on older woman travelling on my own and kadek absolutely tailored the tour to what I wanted to see and what I was able to do. I had a marvellous day with many memories. Thank you.
Had a wonderful full day private tour with another couple from our group. Our English speaking guide, Putu, was very accommodating, a highly skilled driver and entertaining. No time pressure whatsoever.
My wife and I had a great time touring the island of Bali. We booked the same time as our friends and were able to ride in the same car together. We were picked up at our hotel by Putu. He is a great guide who has much knowledge of the island. He is a safe and patient driver. The restaurant he took us to for lunch was beautiful, exactly how you'd imagine it. This tour was the highlight of our time in Bali. Thank you Putu.

We booked this tour through Tripadvisor for $198 for 2 people specifically because of the itinerary that was advertised. The tour listing included the following stops: • Lempuyang Temple • Tirta Gangga • Tukad Cepung Waterfall • Tegalalang Rice Terrace • Tegenungan Waterfall • Tirta Empul Temple • Gallery Ada Garuda • Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary • Ubud Art Market • Viewpoint of Mount Agung We also paid extra for the Bali Swing as part of the upgraded itinerary. However, when we were picked up, the driver told us he had received a completely different itinerary and said that Tripadvisor had not communicated the advertised itinerary to the tour operator. He explained he was only scheduled to drive for 10 hours and said we would have to pay extra cash if we wanted to complete the itinerary shown in the booking. During the tour, the driver repeatedly tried to persuade us not to go to Lempuyang Temple, saying it was too far and that the lines could be over an hour. He suggested visiting a closer temple instead and said “all temples look the same.” We insisted on following the itinerary we paid for, and we eventually did go there. In reality, the places we visited were: • Lempuyang Temple (after insisting) • Tirta Gangga • Bali Swing • Coffee tasting stop • Warung Kopi Bawasari lookout point Instead of the waterfalls listed in the itinerary, we were taken to Kanto Lampo Waterfall, which was not part of the tour we booked. It required walking down hundreds of steep steps and the water was very dirty. We stayed about 15 minutes and left. The following advertised stops were never visited: • Tukad Cepung Waterfall • Tegalalang Rice Terrace • Tegenungan Waterfall • Tirta Empul Temple • Gallery Ada Garuda • Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary • Ubud Art Market • Mount Agung viewpoint In other words, most of the advertised itinerary was not completed, and several unadvertised stops were substituted instead. We booked this tour specifically for the itinerary shown on Tripadvisor, but the experience we received was completely different. I respectfully request a refund and ask that this listing be reviewed to ensure future travelers are not misled by an itinerary that cannot realistically be completed.
