- Things to bring: Umbrellar/ Hat, shirts (protect skins in the hot summer & strong sun, shoes/ sandals/ flip flops, swimming suits, towels, small money, sunglasses, suncream, camera, small waters (glass water bottle/thermos water bottle), snacks, raincoats, insect spray... Jackets (in the Winter).
- 8.00 – 8.30AM: Pick up at hotels in Hanoi old quarter (time to pick up depending your hotel locations...). If customers don't stay in Hanoi old quarter, pls come to Hanoi Opera house, 01 Trang Tien street before 8.30AM to get on the bus.

I had done endless research on which cruise to take to Ha Long bay. I read many reviews warning of bad busses from Hanoi, old boats and the area being overly touristy in general. Bai Tu Long Bay was the best choice for sure. My worries were assuaged when a comfortable, air conditioned luxury bus came to collect us from our Airbnb. The boat was well appointed and the rooms were comfortable & stylish. We really enjoyed the kayaking! The cave tour was not that exciting but the beach on the island was beautiful though many other tours came to the same spot. I wish we would have done the 2 night cruise as time passed by quickly and after being in Hanoi it was great to be in quiet nature and under the stars. Also it’s very smooth sailing so if you have motion sickness, no worries there. Food was good and you won’t go hungry at any point. Service might have been the best in Vietnam with smiles and kindness at every turn. I wish we had time to get spa services! Try to spend as much time on the upper deck as possible! Thanks for the great cruise!
