Bacalar Yoga Class on Floating Platform in Laguna





Description
Starting the day moving is priceless. Turn off your mind for a while and connect with your body through a yoga practice in the middle of the water. We will start the day by paddle boarding or kayaking to a floating platform in the turquoise waters of Laguna Bacalar where, through meditation and breathing techniques, we will start our yoga session. The peace of the morning, the paradise background and the fluidity of the water will inspire you to move lightly and freely, allowing you to disconnect for a moment from the mental noise and connect through the body with the present moment. At the end of our practice, we will share some fruits, water and hot drinks to say goodbye, before paddling back to the dock. Join the float!

It is a great experience!!! We had never taken a paddleboard and we had no problems at all. The sunrise is beautiful!! Ro (the instructor) is very kind, patient, and attentive. We had people with more experience and others who were beginners, and the session worked very well for everyone. Really, highly highly recommended!! In the end, breakfast on the platform is a delicious way to finish.

Peaceful yoga experience on a platform on the lagoon. Some adjustments were made because it was cold and windy, but that made it a better experience overall. I appreciate the thoughtfulness. Great way to start the day on vacation.

Thoroughly enjoyed the yoga class and it was very cool being out on the raft in the middle of the lake! It was cloudy so didn’t get the full sunrise, slightly cold also as windy so would definitely recommend jumper and trousers incase. Ronnie the teacher was very welcoming and the level was comfortable for beginners. Although the road noise picked up halfway through so it was difficult at times to hear instructions. Overall enjoyed the experience - a very special place to practice yoga - and the fruit and coffee afterwards was a nice touch. Thank you!
Very good experience, unfortunately because of the number of people on the tours, we could not get there by kayak. But everything was amazing. I highly recommend it.

I’m so glad I got to do this and ended up having a solo class with Rocio as my friend couldn’t make it. I arrived at 6.30am as sunrise was a bit later this time of year. Rocio gave me a dry bag to put my valuables in for the crossing and the paddle out was less than 10 mins but really beautiful. She is a great yoga instructor and the flow was a lovely pace to start the day. The water makes balance a little more challenging but it’s such peaceful surroundings to practice in. She can cater for total beginners or more experienced yogis. The sunrise breakfast was gorgeous and we saw birds and turtles. Best to wear shorts as your legs will get a bit wet getting into the water and bring an extra top layer as it can be a bit chilly in the morning with the wind before the sun comes up. This was an amazing experience and I would recommend it to everyone! Thank you Rocio 🙏
