⚠️ Pick-up Policy Pickup is available only within designated areas shown on the platform and inside Bacalar town, to ensure a smooth and punctual experience for all guests. please send us your pickup details (hotel name + full address) as soon as possible so we can schedule it properly. • Guests must be ready on time and wait outside their accommodation for the tour vehicle. • The driver is only required to wait a maximum of 5 minutes. After that, it is the guest’s responsibility to reach the tour meeting point independently. • Please note that failure to show up on time will be considered a no-show. In such cases, changes or refunds will not be accepted under any circumstances. • In some cases, the vehicle may not access all streets or hotel entrances. Seeing the sunrise over the lagoon is a must-see; the way the sun reflects on the water and highlights the colors is beautiful.
My partner and I had the most beautiful experience of our lives. We watched the sunrise while paddling on paddle boards, and I can’t compare it to anything else. Watching the sunrise on the water is truly magical. The feeling is impossible to put into words. Our tour guide was patient, friendly, and incredibly helpful. He taught my partner how to paddle, and he picked it up surprisingly quickly. We paddled to a canal in the lagoon that was shallow at the beginning, where we stopped for breakfast. The guide prepared a beautiful breakfast for us, which was such a thoughtful touch. Everyone speaks both Spanish and English, so the entire booking process was smooth and easy. I highly recommend this experience. I honestly think our trip to Bacalar would have felt incomplete without it.
While looking for things to do in Bacalar, we came across Elahé, or Eli for short, and it was one of the best decisions of our trip. She is not only an exceptional guide, but she also offers two experiences that can perfectly complement each other. The dawn tour in the lagoon is beautiful, peaceful, and features a true spectacle of colors from which stunning photos can be taken, which she herself captures so you can enjoy the moment. Unfortunately, we could not take her Janzu therapy of floating massage in the water because our schedules did not align, but we were able to witness it from afar and talking with her, her incredible vibe shows her dedication to her work, and we would have loved it. Elahé honored her name, which means something like divine woman/goddess: she was punctual yet patient, and her warm and professional demeanor will make you feel at ease from the very first moment. She is the type of guide who cares about providing an authentic and meaningful experience, and she also prepared an incredible breakfast for us with coffee that tasted heavenly. Whether for the dawn tour, the Janze therapy, or both, Elahé was a wonderful coincidence in Bacalar that we do not regret at all, and I am grateful that she is in Mexico; I recommend her to anyone.
Sunrise paddle boarding on the lagoon with Elahe was one of my favorite experiences in Bacalar. The scenery is breathtaking. She is a very experienced and knowledgeable guide who creates a fun and relaxing experience. Coffee and breakfast in the blue waters of the pirate channel is not be to be missed.

We had an incredible morning on the water with Ellie. From the sunrise to the breakfast on the water, it was incredible and the highlight of our Bacalar experience. Would definitely do it again.
The sunrise paddleboard tour with Kai Tours was truly the highlight of my trip to Bacalar. I can’t fully describe how magical and unique the energy of the Bacalar Lagoon feels at sunrise—it’s something you have to experience. And sharing this moment with Eli, who is an incredibly professional, experienced, and kind guide, made it even more special. The guys at Amarbacalar organized a sunrise paddleboard/kayak tour for us on the Bacalar lagoon with Ellie, and it’s been an unforgettable experience. Ellie is absolutely lovely: she has guided us through the lagoon at a peaceful pace and even prepared an incredible breakfast for us. Enjoying breakfast on a paddleboard in the middle of the Pirates’ Channel is something I’d recommend to anyone visiting Bacalar. It’s truly a one-of-a-kind experience. 5 stars and highly recommended!!!
