You will be picked up outside of the Costa Maya cruise ship port complex and you’ll step aboard our private air conditioned vehicle that will take you to our beautiful marina right on the Bacalar Lagoon. As soon as we get to Bacalar we’ll cruise out in our private boat for relaxation and pampering by our attentive crew as you take in captivating views of Bacalar that will leave you breathless, where you will have the opportunity to splash in the clear waters of this stunning lagoon. As soon as we start our adventure in the lagoon you’ll be amazed by the different shades of blue and understand why is frequently referred as the 7 color lagoon. During the tour our captain will prepare a delicious and healthy fruit snack that will be perfect for the occasion.
After we are done with our boat tour we will take you to our favorite restaurant to enjoy some delicious and authentic mexican tacos (pork, beef or shrimp) served along guacamole. (We have vegetarian and vegan options upon request).

We had a wonderful time on the Bacalar Lagoon with Jhoana and others! It was a relaxing, quality experience in a beautiful location. Our family was impressed on all counts (timing, transportation, setting, food). I would recommend this excursion for anyone who wants to appreciate unique natural surroundings, and have all the details taken care of.
Bacalar is beautiful and a must see in Costa Maya. Jhoana was great and gave us a ton on information of on the area. She is not allowed in the cruise port so I recommend an early start since it is quite a walk to exit the terminal. I would account for 30 plus minutes walking if you are a big group. Communication with her was wonderful though. Even though Bacalar is a bit far from the cruise port it is totally worth spending the day there. Lunch was traditional Mexican food and was amazing. We truly enjoyed our day and privacy of a private tour.
We had an absolute blast on the Bacalar boat tour! Jhoana was our guide, and she provided a ton of information about the formation of the lagoon, and the area we were in. She took great care of our group, and even had snacks and drinks for us on the bus.
The water was so clear, and you could see the bottom of the lagoon. The guide was fun and full of energy; she played all of her favorite music on the way back and danced and sang the whole way.
