Travel from Bangkok in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle or begin your journey at your first stop in Ayutthaya, Wat Lokayasutha, home to the giant reclining Buddha, one of the few intact structures remaining in the area. Next, visit Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, an important temple within the royal palace complex, where the monarchy once performed rituals. It is considered the most significant temple in Ayutthaya. Continue to Wat Mahathat Ayutthaya, one of the oldest and most historically significant temples, once housing the Buddha’s holy relic. Don’t miss the famous Buddha head, entwined in the roots of a Bodhi tree. Visit Wat Lokaya Sutharam to see the 42-meter-long reclining white Buddha.
Make your first stop at Wat Phra Sri Sanphet which was for a long time considered to be the spiritual center of Thailand. Situated within the royal palace grounds, the temple is the royal monastery and is a model of the royal temple of the Emerald Buddha or Wat Phra Kaew in Bangkok.
Wat Mahathat Ayutthaya which is one of the oldest and most significant temples in the history of Ayutthaya as it housed the Buddha's holy relic. The temple is most famous for the Buddha head situated in a Bodhi tree root
Finish the trip at Wat Chaiwattanaram which rests on the bank of the Chao Phraya River. Learn about how the temple was ordered to built in 1630 by King Prasat Thong to honor his mother featuring the architectural style influenced by the Angkor Wat temple complex in Cambodia

We had a great experience on this tour! Our guide, Mindy, was very knowledgeable, fun, and friendly. She explained the history of the different temples and even showed us the best spots to take photos at each stop. The tour was fast paced with a little free time at each site to walk around, but with the heat it seemed like an appropriate amount of time. Logistics: We opted for the hotel pickup and received our pickup time the day before - the driver was right on time and took us to the tour start. It was very hot, but a bottle of water was provided after the first stop. There were other places to buy water and drinks at each stop as well.

Very well-organized and informative trip. We were picked up at our hotel, and then consolidated into a group of about 14 for the 90 minute bus ride. The ancient capital is full of ruins and history that comes to life through the visit. The tour made stops at 4 different sites, and each time the guide offered a brief introduction and overview, and then we had 30 to 45 minutes to explore on our own. Perfect for our tastes! The tour ends with a buffet lunch at the company-owned restaurant. The food is nothing special, but the facility is large, clean, and comfortably air conditioned. Absolutely recommend this tour!

Very nice your, our guide Sam speaks very good English and it is super knowledgeable and friendly. I am giving this tour 4 stars instead of 5 only for one reason, this tour included lunch, once we got to the restaurant the food was already in display without any sort of heat, I brought this to the attention to the guide as it can create food poisoning to people if the food is not kept at the right temperature, also nobody likes to eat lukewarm or cold chicken. Other than this the tour was excellent, I recommend to anyone.

We learned a lot on this tour with Jokey as our guide. He was fun, personable, ensured that everyone got the best photos, and told the history of each site in a way that you remembered. We found that there was ample time spent at each location to visit without feeling rushed. Lunch was at a nicely air conditioned venue set up for handling crowds. We opted for the green curry soup which was the only item on a heat source. It was very tasty.

Perfect way to see Ayutthaya for a day from Bangkok. Everything went on schedule. One and a half hour taxi ride felt safe and quick access to all the sights. Guide did not tell a lot. Was a bit touristy. Lunch was a bit touristy too. But for the price this tour was definitely fine and safe.

We were picked up at our hotel exactly at the agreed time and left nice and on time with a larger bus to the historic site of Ayutthaya. Our guide Sam told us a thing or two about Ayutthaya's history and what the day program would look like on the way. We visited 4 sites and got a good explanation from Sam and also plenty of time to walk around ourselves. The morning ended with a buffet lunch, with plenty for everyone. We enjoyed our tour although it was quite expensive and could possibly be cheaper.

i missed the first tour we were on due to communication of pick up time. I found it interesting but long. It was nice to get out of Bangkok. I think the guide was very knowledgeable it just didn’t hold my interest
