This was my favorite tour of Our trip! We met at the wrestling school and met El Picote a Mexican wrestler that attends the school. Mezcal tasting & local tacos were delicious!! We had a great time at the show and our tour guide stayed with us to explain more wrestling information. I wore my mask most of the time and had a great experience!
We had the best time ever!!!! I would so highly recommend this tour and Gabriel! He was very informative and friendly and made us feel very welcomed. We had the best time ever!
Gaby was very passionate and gave a great background of the history of Lucha Libre. A bit theatrical when we went on the Saturday show at the Arena.
Fantastic real experience - do this one. You get to do some light training at a legit training gym and the host has all the tea on the local wrestling scene. Would recommend to everyone.
Thank you so much for your amazing review! We’re really happy to hear you enjoyed the authentic experience and had fun at the wrestling gym. Getting a closer look at the local lucha libre scene is something we love sharing with our guests! Thanks again for the recommendation, it truly means a lot to us
Lots of fun. Gab was great. It was interesting to find out about the tradition and being part of the enthusiastic audience. Awesome vibes, check it out.
Thank you for joining us! We’re so glad you had a great time and enjoyed learning more about the tradition and energy of lucha libre. The crowd atmosphere is definitely something special! We’ll make sure to share your kind words with Gab. Hope to see you again soon for more awesome vibes.
This is truly a unique and incredible experience! We all felt so comfortable with our host Gaby and learned so much about lucha libre! And aside from going to the awesome show, I will never forget getting into a wrestling ring for the first time in my life. Bucket list item checked!
Wow — bucket list checked! I am so glad made you feel comfortable and that you had a blast both learning about lucha libre and stepping into the ring. That’s the kind of memory we love creating. Thanks for sharing, and we’d love to have you back for more fun and local experiences!
Signed up for a Friday night tour with 12 other friends, and it was easily the highlight of our trip. Gaby was very responsive on WhatsApp, and Gabriel, our guide, was very knowledgeable, attentive, and chill. Tacos were delicious, and we learned and laughed a lot at the wrestling school tour. Lucha tickets are in the nosebleeds, but honestly, the energy is much better higher up in the arena. There were actually people behind us heckling the low-energy big-cash people ringside lol. Just a heads up to head to the meet up spot near the Arena earlier than expected. The traffic is no joke and adds twice the amount of time needed to get anywhere. Would recommend and will be back!
Thank you so much for this amazing review! We’re so happy to hear it was the highlight of your trip. That’s exactly what we aim for. Gaby will be glad to know she could support you before the tour, and Gabriel will love hearing your kind words —he really enjoys making the experience fun and easygoing. Sounds like you fully embraced the lucha libre energy (and you’re so right… the upper seats are where the real party is! ). Also, great tip about the traffic. CDMX definitely keeps things interesting! Thanks again for the recommendation, and we’ll be ready for you next time you’re back!
Gaby gave us a great tour! First stop tasting different types of mezcal with choice of chasers from green tomatoes, oranges, cocoa and grasshoppers! 2nd stop a great local taco shop! Final stop was the main event Lucho Libre at the Coliseo! Highly recommend this fun local venue and Gaby to be your guide!
Thank you for the lovely review! We’re so glad you enjoyed every stop, from the mezcal tasting (with some fun and adventurous pairings! 🦗😄) to the tacos and the big lucha libre finale. Gaby will be so happy to hear your kind words! Thanks again for recommending us, and we hope to see you again for another fun night in Mexico City!
Gab was a very good guide. She was very attentive to everyone’s needs and very knowledgeable. We really enjoyed this experience
Hi Nancy! Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re really happy to hear you had such a great time with Gab. She truly loves what she does, and it means a lot to know her attentiveness and knowledge made your experience even more special. We’re so glad you enjoyed everything, and we hope to welcome you back for another adventure soon!
I can't say enough good things about this evening seeing Lucha Libre. Gabriel gave a fantastic tour. We started at a small neighborhood wrestling ring where we got our masks, sipped mezcal, and learned about the wrestling culture. We also met a wrestler, Demasiado, who showed a few moves to some in our group and posed for photos. He was awesome. We then went for some delicious tacos and then walked to Arena Mexico for the match. I liked the unique approach to the tour... you could tell our guide genuinely wanted everyone to have a good time and learn about the wrestling but also the importance of it to Mexico. Afterwards we gathered at an easily identifiable spot for an Uber or Didi pick up to get home. I would highly recommend this tour.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We’re really happy to hear you had such a great evening with Gabriel. Starting the experience at the neighborhood ring is one of our favorite parts too, it’s a fun way to connect with the roots of lucha libre before heading to the big show. Meeting Demasiado and seeing a few moves up close definitely makes the night extra special! We’re glad you enjoyed the tacos, the stories behind the sport, and the electric atmosphere at Arena Mexico. Gabriel will be thrilled to hear your kind words. Thanks again for the recommendation, and we hope to see you again on your next trip to Mexico City!
