To be welcomed into this family for the afternoon/evening was a delight. The history, culture, food, garden and farm experience was so authentic and amazing. Not just a cooking class but a cultural experience, couldn't recommend any more.

Authentic rural farm experience with cultural emphasis on food, family, gardening and cooking/wine. Relaxed atmosphere, very kind host family that engage in conversation easily. Once in a lifetime opportunities with incredible views in Konavle.
Thank you for the wonderful review! We are delighted that you loved our rural experience, the cooking, and the views. It was amazing having you here in Konavle, and we hope to see you again!🌿🍷
Beautiful farm and home. Was great to get out of the city and understand more about traditional Croatian living. Easy and straightforward menu. Only challenge was that one in the party didn’t eat beef. We confirmed that. We made veal (aka young beef), so one was didn’t get enjoy main course.
Thank you so much for your lovely words about our farm and traditional Croatian home! We are truly sorry for the misunderstanding regarding the main course. In Croatia, we make a very strict culinary distinction between beef (meat from adult cattle) and veal (meat from young calves), treating them as two completely different ingredients. When you noted "no beef," we automatically prepared veal, thinking it was a perfect and safe alternative. We now realize that from your perspective, it still falls under the same category, and we feel terrible that one guest couldn't enjoy the meal due to this cultural and linguistic mix-up. This was a great lesson for us to be more specific with international guests in the future. We would love to host you again and make it up to you with a dinner everyone can enjoy!
This was a great cooking class! They pick you up close to your accommodation and bring you back to their beautiful home. Nike and Katarina were the most kind, friendly and fun hosts! We learned how to make bread, then got a great tour of their property and gardens and then went back to the kitchen to prepare vegetables, meat and dessert. We enjoyed interacting with the other participants and the hosts…so fun! The meal was delicious and we also enjoyed their wine from their vineyard. I would highly recommend this class. It was one of the highlights of our trip! Thank you Katarina and Nike! Beverly & Andy Morrison, Colorado
Thank you, Beverly and Andy! It was a true pleasure hosting you. We are so glad you enjoyed our home, the garden tour, and our food and wine. Safe travels back to Colorado! Warmly, Katarina & Nike
My sister and I decided to take a break from the regular tour stuff and take this cooking class. We could not have been more delighted. We were picked up from our hotel by Ivo. We had a mini history lesson of the area on our way to the site. The place, which has been in the family since the 1500's was beautiful. The whole family is involved in this endeavor. We met his lovely wife, Katarina and one of his daughters. Everyone lends a hand. Had a tour of their amazing gardens and fruit trees, where they produce their own wine, and where they produce their own olive oil. We made bread, pasta, a chicken stew, and vegetable soup. While we were enjoying our meal, Ivo went through his incredible family tree and history with us. I highly recommend taking the time to visit this place. Five hours seems to be a long time but it flew by.
We were picked up just outside the city walls and taken to a beautiful farm that has been in the same family for 15 generations. The mom and daughter instructors were very friendly and informative. We gathered vegetables, eggs and milked a goat and then prepared a delicious dinner with what we harvested. We also made our own bread. It was a wonderful time and we learned a lot from our gracious hosts about Croatian culture and food. Highly recommend!
Thank you very much. We are glad that you enjoyed in this experience.
Simply incredible people, lovely atmosphere, and incredible garden. Food delicious!! You prepare soup, main dishes, and dessert. Hands on and fun to tour the multigenerational farm.
Thank you, we are glad that you enjoyed.
We spent a week with the Mujo family on a G Adventure tour. The food was always delicious and plentiful! This is definitely a farm to table experience. Their hospitality is amazing! We felt like part of their family.
Thank you!
We had a wonderful day, taken in by this beautiful family. We were picked up at our hotel in Dubrovnik and driven by Katarina to her family’s compound in Konavle. She told us about her family and gave us history of the area. The house was from the 1500s and gorgeous. We then tried some fruit and homemade juice. We made dough for bread then toured the property and gorgeous vegetable and fruit garden while it proofed. We cut fresh vegetables and skewered marinated meat for our lunch later. Her brother in law joined us with nice bicycles and we went for a 9 mile bike ride through the countryside- stopping along the way for history. We started at the top of a valley and mostly went downhill. We ended at the cousin’s vineyard where we sampled 4 homemade- delicious- wines and snacked on homemade cheese and cured meats. Finally, we were driven back up the hill to have the gourmet lunch we had helped prepare. The family was warm and welcoming. It was a real treat and nice to get away from the crowds in Dubrovnik.
Thank you for nice review.
