Village experience

A lovely day spent in Etrim Village with my two wonderful hosts - especially Tony. I learned about local culture and religion while being treated to locally sourced and prepared foods. Meeting the locals and seeing how Turkish rugs are traditionally made was also a highlight. I thoroughly recommend this tour.

A Beautiful Experience with Amazing Views and Stunning Handmade Carpets

We had a really lovely time here with my family and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. The Etrium Dogo Restaurant was fantastic, the atmosphere was great, and the views were absolutely beautiful. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting. The handmade carpets were also completely out of this world so unique and beautifully made that we ended up purchasing two. We’re very grateful, very happy with everything, and overall had a wonderful experience.

A village adventure

Tony picked us up very close to where we were staying and drove us to Etrim where he took us around and told us a bit more about the village and life there. He was really friendly and keen to share about his experience living in the village and his take on life in Bodrum as well. We were also given a very insightful tour of carpet weaving in Etrim and treated to an amazing lunch spread of village fare. A very pleasant and enjoyable time spent with Tony and in Etrim!

Unique, off the beaten path experience!

Quite the experience!! Our driver was a bit tough to find, but once we got together we were on our way. Overall a unique, family experience. Would recommend to others that are looking for an “off the beaten path” experience where you’re in the countryside away from it all. We felt very welcome and cared for the entire time.

An Unforgettable Cultural Tour

It was such a nice experience. The people in the village were so kind and warm-hearted, and the tour guide was also very kind. The food was excellent. I highly recommend this tour. I also learned a lot about Turkish rugs, which was very interesting.

Lovely village

Despite the sweltering heat, the experience was nothing short of delightful! We had the opportunity to explore a charming little village, where we savored a mouthwatering meal that was expertly prepared. The highlight, however, was witnessing the talented women of the town skillfully handcraft beautiful rugs, a true testament to their artistry and dedication.

Cultural immersion

This is a great way to see the landscape of Bodrum. You get a good idea of the topography as you get driven to the Turkish village. It’s a cultural immersion once you arrive. The guide walks you through the streets and you learn about their way of life. Lunch is delicious. Tour of their mosque was an unexpected bonus. Great trip.

An amazing experience

Our guide, was simply exceptional: very kind, attentive and passionate. He explained the history of the village perfectly, with interesting anecdotes and precise chronological landmarks. The inhabitants of the village were all very welcoming, and the Mood was warm. The food? A real treat! Everything was fresh, tasty and typical of the region. I recommend this experience 100% not to be missed if you are in the area!

Village life and rugs for sale

A great tour of local village life. Pick up was on time with nice car. Tony shared with us the everyday life of their community. Living off the land. Growing and processing the wheat, vegetables and raising cattle and chicken. Visited the mosque . Learned how the yarns are dyed and made into Turkish rugs . Wonderful lunch and good homemade wine.
