Description
You can count on many years of The Green Adventure Team experience, local knowledge and the finest photography. On the evening of the tour we will pick you up in front of Scandic Ishavshotel and set off on a comfortable journey in our minibus. In the minibus our expedition leader will do a small introduction about weather conditions, possibilities to see the lights and selected locations. We always work as a team, so we are in contact with other Aurora hunters to increase our chances. Once we find the right place under the clear skies, we will get ready for the show. We will also set up a bonfire, that's the perfect time to warm up with a cup of hot drink and also roast some sweet marshmallows. By the time we will tell you some interesting stories from the north and legends about lady Aurora. Also you will have a chance to try "made in Tromso" soup, which is tailored for arctic expeditions. After the tour you will receive photos from our expedition leader.

- Children must be accompanied by an adult. Minimum age 12 years old.
- Be aware that access to proper toilets in Norwegian wilderness is very limited, sometimes even impossible. We highly recommend to use any toilet before a tour, because in many spots we don't have access to toilets during winter time.
- Please inform us also about your thermal suit sizes (the same like your winter jacket), so we will make sure that we have proper size ready for you on board.
- Tour is not suitable for cruise ship passengers, which are not staying overnight in Tromso. We do not guarantee that we will be back before cruise's departure as our priority is to see the northern lights. Contact us to organize private tour as an alternative

The snow was dumping in Tromso the whole day and night we were booked on our Aurora chase and so we didn’t have much hope in finding any clear sky in the chance of seeing the Aurora Borealis but Antonio our guide did an amazing job in making it happen. We ended up driving several hours south of Tromso to find the clear sky. Antonio didn’t stop working the whole night to make it happen, it really was a chase that night. We got to see amazing lights. The van we travelled in was warm and comfortable. The photos we also got were insane. I would definitely recommend this tour.

We had an amazing experience on the Aurora hunt with The Green Adventure. We had an incredibly experienced guide and he made us all feel very comfortable at each step. It was a windy night (wrap up really warm) but we got some spectacular breaks in the cloud (clear skies is the key), even seeing a substorm event. Highly recommend this company and Tromsø for your northern lights experience. Note that the bonfire will make all your clothes smoky so pack spares if this is the start of your trip.
We do not know how he did it, but our guide/driver managed to arrange an incredible light show in the sky for hours. Then we all sat around the campfire and had soup. This is one of the best experiences we ever had. Our flight was cancelled and so we cannot make the original date. The company promptly rescheduled us for the next day. We are very appreciative.

We left without much expectation given the weather conditions... and finally, we had an absolutely incredible show! The Northern Lights lit up the sky in an almost unreal way. It was magical. The meal around the fire was warm. Julien's explanations of the Northern Lights phenomenon were exciting. And as if all that wasn’t enough, we even crossed paths on the way back! Frankly, everything was great from start to finish. An unforgettable excursion that I recommend with my eyes closed. ✨
Unforgettable experience seeing the auroras! Our guide was Jessica, she was very knowledgable and approachable. She made sure we were comfortable at all times and really made an effort for us to maximise our chances of seeing the auroras and we did! Cant recommend this experience enough!

The tour was great. I mean we got to see aurora lights and it was a challenging night to do so. We didnt give up and we were rewareded at the end. Very grateful for this experience. We left at 6.20 pm and came back at 3 am so greatly appreciate the effort. They didnt cut any corners when it came to driving and chasing aurora . Definately recommend and the pictures were great after.
