Itinerary

After hotel pickup in Castries or Gros Islet, meet your experienced guide, who will ensure your ease and comfort aboard a fun and fully automatic Yamaha ATV. Hop on your ATV for an easy ride that takes you along trails to your first stop at a working banana plantation. Pass villagers going about their daily activities as you drive through small settlements on your way to the Marquis Estate, established in 1723. Situated on the stunning northeast coast of St Lucia, the Marquis Estate was one of the largest private estates during the island's heyday in the late 18th century. See for yourself as you look out over Marquis Bay with its pristine white sands and clear, turquoise waters. Tucked in a lush tropical valley, this breathtaking 500-acre (202-hectare) also offers relics of St Lucia’s past, including a water wheel, an old locomotive, ruins of a sugar mill, and even slave quarters that housed men and women who toiled under British rule until their emancipation in 1833.

Next, head to another lookout point for some of the best tropical beach scenery on this side of the Atlantic! Stop at the top of Grande Anse Beach for refreshing fruit juices, and view one of the most picturesque beaches in the Caribbean. Your guide will tell you about the green, hawksbill and leatherback turtles that lay their eggs here from March to August. Before following your guide back to the base camp, learn about local researchers’ efforts to track the turtles, which swim great distances to return to their nesting sites each year. After your ATV adventure, you’ll be dropped off at your local hotel. A minimum 2 people per booking is required.

Overall Good Experience, Bad Attituted Driver

The tour guide was nice and it was a very pretty scenery. It was enjoyable to see and all the greenery and try their mangoes which tasted delicious. The driver that picked us up from our resort was very rude and unprofessional. Our scheduled pickup time was 1245 she called me at 1236 saying I’m here. I said okay we will be down at 1245 since that’s the time they had sent me for pickup. She said “oh my god”, and hung up the phone. She said “is that your son” when we got down to her car to my partner who anyone could clearly tell was not my son. Then proceeded to make more rude comments like “he looks and acts very childish” and blah blah blah. Was very disappointed with her.

Miscommunication

Experience started off pretty rough. No communication from Viator or the company responsible for excursion. There were 8 in our party and no one received a notice on what time to meet the driver. All we knew is 11a time, so we were in the lobby waiting. Our driver arrived around 10:30a-10:40a for pick-up and of course we were not there. We quickly assembled and rushed to the lobby. Only to find out that my reservation for 2 was not logged. The driver stated she had 6 ppl for the tour, which left my husband and my paid tickets unaccounted for. The driver called someone, I would assume the ATV company and the owner states they had been trying to contact me on Sunday to state they could not accommodate my tickets. I explained to him that my card has been charged and I have my tickets. HE proceeds to say my card was NOT charged and I am looking at my credit card statement. He continued to state someone was trying to call me about this issue. My phone NEVER rang from anyone about the excursion, no email, or text message and I was still receiving messages from viator about the tour and wishing us a good time. (confusing right). So then the driver states the company has 2 double atv's and 2 single. Then changed the story to 3 doubles and 1 single. So, we had one of the doubles and my sister had 2 singles, which meant, they couldn't accommodate her paid tickets, not mine. So it appeared my tickets were cancelled out, totally erased from the ATV database to give my sister instead of 2 singles, 1 singe and my double for her husband. Well, we took the ride to the atv location, and my sisters husband stated he would not ride so we could use OUR paid double that we paid for. He spoke with the owner while waiting on our return and expressed to him the disappointment in the service and how it was handled. The owner accepted accountability and apologized for the error. He refunded the money within 2 hours. Tour was great. Guide was very knowledgeable and professional... Moral of this story: Don't have one.. Be prepared for anything LOL

Great Time in St. Lucia

Quan was a great guide. We viewed the island from a completely different perspective. He also took us to several ruins and new construction sites and informed is about the island history and culture.

Unprofessional

Our tour guide was rude and unprofessional. Wish I would’ve know before hand and would have booked with someone else and got a full refund. St Lucia is beautiful so I’m glad we went and was able to see the island but I would not recommend booking with this company

LOVED THIS TOUR!

Darren and Quan went above and beyond on our tour! The ride was challenging, but fun, and they made the process so easy. We even stopped to eat fresh mangoes! We had a blast and would recommend everyone try it! We felt safe the whole way and would 1000% do this again.

Fun family outing

Our guide was very careful with our inexperienced group. Machines were well worn but cared for and operated flawlessly. The ride was paced for our comfort level and the guide was very friendly and helpful. Several detours for fun trails and water crossings added to the fun. Whole family enjoyed the experience.
