Discover the Berber villages of the Atlas Mountains on a full-day trip from Marrakech that explores broad valleys and lush orchards with views of Mount Toubkal the highest peak in North Africa. Ride a camel through a broad gorge, pause for tea in Imlil Valley then hike to the isolated village of Ait Souka to share a meal in a Berber family’s home (not included). Throughout the day take in the mountains’ beautiful scenery, terraced gardens that climb steep hillsides, tumbling waterfalls and an alpine Kasbah.

The High Atlas Mountains extend (there are three ranges) down the centre of Morocco defining the weather sytems of both East and West Morocco. The highest point of the range is Mount Toubkal (4167m) that can be viewed from the Imlil Valley.

Excellent day tour led by Youssef with Targa Travel. Showed up reliably on time and day was well planned out. We are used to a faster pace of travel than what was covered during this tour, but overall was still very enjoyable and Youssef was a fantastic guide. Would recommend for groups, families, and if you are looking for a relaxing day in the high atlas
A truly amazing day & tour. We started off late due to some driver issues, but our guide, "Potatoes" was extremely apologetic & made sure we had everything we needed (plus a private driver) when the tour began. We enjoyed the camel ride, argan facility, snacks, tea and lunch along the way, & the stunning hike. Potatoes gave us a lot of information about the area, and answered any questions that we had. He had tons of energy and was everyone's personal photographer (he jumped in a few photos as well!) Overall, we were thrilled with this tour.
