I found this event at the last minute. I was skeptical about it at first. I didn’t know what to expect. I am so glad that I secured my spot. I hated history growing up and could care less as an adult…until this tour. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour from the time I got on the activity van to the time that I got off of the activity van. Durf is extremely knowledgeable. He kept me entertained and intrigued by both pre-historical, historical, and current events. I was never bored. I was in awe of how everything tied together, seeing a lot of places where movie scenes have been made, having exclusive access to a lot of historical sites, trails, mountains, and nature. I had a blast and I am so glad that Durf was the guide for this experience. Durf is so thoughtful of tourist, helpful, and makes learning history interesting. It was truly amazing. I had a euphoric day!
Our tour guide, Durf from Roundabout tours, was great and awesome! Would highly recommend this tour!
This was an all around perfect experience! The conductor/ tour guide was the best!! He’s a combination of humor and experience! His presentation was one of our best!!
Very detailed and informative history of the mountain was explained by the tour guide. We stopped at various places and took the cable car ro the peak of the mountain. Well-organised trip.
The tour guide was great very informative and a truth teller . I really like how history wasn't white washed. As a solo traveler black woman I felt safe no weird vibes.
The tour was really amazing, our tour guide was Turf, very knowledgeable and patient. He was very respectful and nice.
Great guide with good information. Nice van for transport. Saw things we might not have seen otherwise.
We got to see the amazing views of Stone Mountain I must say it was absolutely amazing you get to enjoy and see what nature has to offer and also get some knowledge about the history of the mountain.
I booked this 5 hr stone mountain bus tour $89.00 and was sent a confirmation saying arrive at 9:30 am for the bus tour with a link underneath the message saying get directions I got to ne Atlanta and it took me in a very bed neighborhood to a house. I tried several times to get a hold of someone and finally left for my hotel since there were homeless people all around me and I felt unsafe. I finally got ahold of someone from viator and explains what happened. I never did get a refund or was offered to go another day. The person from viator was scolding me and saying I should have read the address from the ticket. While I was on the phone with her I went again to the confirmation email with the get directions link and it took me to the same house I had arrived at earlier. Don't get ripped off. I dont even know if this tour exists.
Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re sorry for the confusion and frustration you encountered while trying to locate the departure point. For this tour, the meeting location is provided in the ticket and confirmation details, and the directions link is intended to guide guests to that designated location. We do operate this tour as scheduled, and we encourage guests to contact us directly before departure if they have any questions about the meeting point so we can assist promptly. We regret that this situation led to concern and disappointment.
Great guide which was Durf. He was knowledgeable and kept the day flowing. Was interested in the group and gave insider tips on additional ways to enjoy the park.
